We decided to visit the main beach in Amanzimtoti during a recent outing.
Amanzimtoti is a coastal town, located just south of Durban, Kwazulu Natal, on the east coast of South Africa. With its nice, warm climate, it is a popular destination for tourists and surfers.
We love visiting this area and spending time on various beaches in the Amanzimtoti area.
When we visit the main beach, we normally head out to the rocky area, south of the main beach. It is a favorite spot for fishermen, but it also provides many opportunities to get some nice shots of the surf coming in over the rocks, often providing some spectacular splashes.
My first photo shows a typical scene of the surf covering the rocks...
In the next photo, the water finds a way to the beach through a passageway between the rocks.
Then, though not massive, a nice splash behind the rocks.
Walking on the rocks, it's nice to notice that there is life to be found too, however small it might be...lol.
The next shot is of a rocky area not covered by water for a few moments.
In my last photo for today, I share a photo of this log that got my attention. It almost looks like it has been planted there and growing from the sand on the beach...lol!
And that's it for today, folks.
Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
