Hello Travelers! I hope you are quenching your thirst for travel even in this intense heat wave. Even so, take care of yourself in this weather and avoid going out unnecessarily. Stay in shaded areas and keep cool water with you.
Today, I am sharing with you a journey I took last year during the hot days of this month. These places are famous in Dubai as Al Quranic Park and Al Khawaneej The Last Exit.
Al Quranic Park is a theme park based on the Holy book of Muslims, the Quran. The park features a variety of plants, trees, and fruit-bearing trees mentioned in the Quran.
The special feature of this park is that visitors can listen to Quranic recitations while walking through it. Additionally, there's a famous spot called Miracle Cave, designed for visitors to watch videos related to the stories of the Quran park in a cave-like setting, reminiscent of the caves mentioned in the Quran.
The park features a stunning glasshouse showcasing beautiful plants from around the world, functioning as a greenhouse. The interior offers a breathtaking view with a diverse array of lush greenery, making it a captivating sight for visitors.
The majority of the area outside resembles a traditional park with abundant greenery. Date palms and various fruit trees are scattered throughout, allowing visitors to enjoy the fruits growing on them. In this season, there were plenty of dates, which we had the pleasure of tasting. Each tree's fruit had a distinct and excellent flavor, making the experience truly delightful.
Further ahead, we encountered a fascinating scene, reminiscent of the encounter between Pharaoh and Prophet Moses, where both sides were surrounded by water except for a path in between. This area was designed to depict the moment when Pharaoh pursued Moses and his people, only for Allah to part the sea, allowing Moses and his followers to cross safely while Pharaoh's army was engulfed by the waters.
What you see in front of you is known as the Miracle Cave. It represents the story of the Seven Sleepers mentioned in the Quran. In this tale, seven individuals sought refuge in a cave to escape the oppressive rulers of their time. Allah caused them to sleep for a long period, over 200 years, during which time the world around them changed drastically. This story holds significant importance for both Muslims and Christians.
Exploring this park often leads to an increase in faith among Muslims, as they witness the wonders of their Creator's creation. The park's ambiance, filled with the chirping of birds, the fragrance of blooming flowers, and lush greenery, fosters a sense of serenity and connection with Allah. The interactions and reactions of visitors further contribute to the uplifting atmosphere, creating a shared sense of wonder and appreciation for the beauty of nature.
After enjoying the serene ambiance of the park, we proceeded to The Last Exit to revel in the evening scene. I've visited this place before and even posted about it on my blog.
The standout feature here that always catches my eye is the road stalls, which are uniquely designed and reminiscent of scenes from Hollywood movies. They add a special charm to the atmosphere, evoking memories of classic cinematic moments.
The most crowded spot here is the Promise Bridge, where couples come to lock their love with padlocks, creating a tangible symbol of their affection and commitment.
Another place I haven't mentioned in my previous post is the Wishing Well. Here, visitors toss coins and notes, making a wish. I'll let you know if your wish comes true when you visit this spot.
We decided to satisfy our hunger with some delicious donuts, pastries, cakes, and cold coffee as we had built up quite an appetite from our stroll.
At this point, vintage cars, tractors, motorcycles, and statues are placed, enhancing the ambiance with their historical charm and beauty.
I hope you liked today's post. I explored both places in a short time but enjoyed a lot. Thank you for coming to the post.
