I love to travel, I know, like almost everyone else but let me say it. Traveling for me, is the best recreational activity that can exist, so much so, that I prefer it over any other. When I travel I not only distract myself from a routine that can be exhausting at times, but I also expand my mind to new things, because when we move away even a little bit, it is inevitable to notice that there is much more than our environment, more ways to solve, to think and even to see life, traveling forces you to see beyond yourself.

I don't know if I'm the only one who sees it this way, I don't think so. But like many people, due to a lot of things it has been complicated for us to travel as much as we would like, health or money is always something. Happily I was able to do it this year, it was a short trip but it certainly fulfilled its purpose, which was to get us out of the routine and recharge emotional energies while appreciating the beauties of nature.

As a child living in another area of the country it was quite easy to get to the beach, but eventually we moved and it was not so easy, so between one thing and another I had about 6 years without going to the beach. So when we were invited to an excursion to a beach in the Morrocoy National Park we were very excited, because the truth is that it is beautiful. And reliving experiences you had as a child is always interesting.

In order to arrive early and enjoy the tour as much as possible, we had to get up at 3:00 a.m. to leave at 4:00 a.m. It is not a long trip but it is always customary to arrive early to spend more time in the place. The trip only took 2 hours and a few minutes, on the way I remembered exactly how I felt when as a child we used to do trips like this, sometimes I even went to bed with my clothes on so we could leave faster or I didn't sleep at all waiting for the time to come, we were so intense, I miss that.

When I arrived I found a place where I had been a couple of times but it looked quite different because now I saw it with the eyes of an adult, picturesque and old houses that you usually see in all the coasts with peeling paint due to saltpeter, and the streets full of friendly and charismatic people and that particular smell that the only thing that makes us think of is the beach. Arriving at the town of Tucacas there were several transports waiting to take you to your destination, guaguas they called it.

So we quickly got on one of them and our journey continued, the truth is there are several callos or islands but we decided to stay on a closer beach, the road itself was fascinating and beautiful, there was a part of it where I felt like I was traveling through Africa, or rather as I imagine Africa to be, orange trees, orange earth and a burning sun that made you close your eyes, still beautiful to see.

Along the way we passed several beaches, mangroves and even a natural bird reserve. And then we finally arrived at Punta Suanchez, a beach so blue you can't believe it. When we arrived there were almost no people, so we practically had the beach all to ourselves, the water was calm and the waves were gentle, just the way I like it, basically I spent the day enraptured with how beautiful everything looked around me.

It had been a long time since I had visited a beach in Morrocoy National Park, and I am sure that the pictures I took do not do justice to how beautiful the place is, we ended up with our skin about 5 shades darker, because we did not get out of the water all day and we made the most of this little trip, we arrived home at 10:00 p.m., extremely tired, to the point that when we went to bed our body felt like it was still in the water.

We were still super happy and satisfied for a great day in which we not only did something different but also enjoyed the natural beauties that always make us disconnect from a busy and stressful life. Everything great everything beautiful and of course I want to come back and you guys have you ever heard or been to one of the beaches of Morrocoy?
