Un dato curioso de este lugar, es que el primer nombre oficial de la plaza era Plaza Altamira, pero luego por convenidos entre Francia y Venezuela cambiaron el nombre a Plaza Francia, acordando que en París existiera una plaza llamada Venezuela. Mi tío tenía que ir a buscar al muchacho a las 10 de la noche y es por eso que tuvimos que salir una hora antes para poder estar tranquilos y conocer este lugar.

También cuenta con otras obras de arte y luces decorativas como pueden observar en las siguientes fotos.
