Si bien es Roma la ciudad eterna de las 7 colinas, no es la única que comparte esa característica, ya que por razones de seguridad, es normal que un pueblo se asiente donde existan defensas naturales, pero esa es otra historia.
La otra ciudad construida sobre 7 colinas, posiblemente la más ignota, es de la que les contaré hoy: #Asunción, situada en Paraguay, siendo su primera capital, fundada en 1537 nació en una de esas expediciones que hacían los españoles buscando la famosa ciudad donde el oro y plata y piedras precisosas eran tan comunes que hasta las calles estaban hechas de oro o al menos eso es lo que creían los españoles.
Con el tiempo los españoles se dieron cuenta que, mi siquiera estaba cerca de El Dorado, y quedó relegada al olvido.
Tanto es así, que al día de hoy, Asunción es una de las capitales más obsoletas del mundo, por lo que es difícil describirla de manera positiva para incentivar el turismo sin caer en mentiras.

Las fotos tomadas en el #BarrioSanJeronimo son de cuando me mudé a vivir fugazmente allí, y cual turista en mi propia tierra, conocí la existencia de este barrio asentado sobre una de las 7 colinas de Asunción, y me enamoré de su atmósfera y sus callejones llenos de color.
