Hi all 👋🏻
❄️❄️ As winter wonderland returned to the area up here since Monday (6 March 2023), I was inspired today by all that SNOW ❄️ to post a walk with lots of it ☃️☃️
So today I want to share with you all a walk around ULLAPOOL, its ferry ⛴️ port and views over LOCH BROOM located in the #HIGHLANDS of #SCOTLAND 🏴 / UK 🇬🇧
This is part of our #explorations out, to #discover new areas, since we live in the highlands since end of January this year. 😊

Before we start… first things first: 😎
Let’s wrap up warm before we start this walk? 🧤🧣🥾 hats, scarves and gloves are a must for us next to a warm jacket. 😎
Now we can start our WALK now we are all warm and cosy:

We start off with a view of that morning… to prepare you for the snow ☃️❄️
Walking along some paths we see suddenly a gritter/ snowplough… they clear the roads for us to be able to walk and drive around. Our little mountain it (the gritter) doesn’t go to hahaha 🤣
We reached Ullapool and decided to look at the views over Loch Broom… and it’s port first. ☃️😎

Kids had some fun there… 🤩 ok ok it doesn’t always have to be the young ones, the young at heart 💜 can have fun too…
I did build a snowman too ☃️☃️☃️☃️ I will share soon a post about it with you 🤭😊 so watch this space 😎
Let’s have a look at the boats 🚤 out there… and the stunning view 😊
A little bit to the right… see the picnic table and benches… one can sit there and see the world go by 😊
… and back again. Such a pretty view.
We walk back to the village and see some signs. In the distance the ferry ⛴️ port.

Let’s walk through some streets. We do so over the sideboard/pavement and on the road. Some areas are not cleared. So be careful for the cars on the road.
It is rather slippery in places… due to the ice 🧊 we had fun holding each other up when one slipped hahaha 🤣
As we are walking one big loop, we end up at the Loch again. We are on the other side of the ferry ⛴️ port now.
I see this stunning… rather amazing sky 🤩
Looking slowly to the left over Loch Broom.
And towards the furthest point we can see of the Loch. Left next to us is the port. ⛴️
One more look at this view 🥰
We walk further… and see this #sticker!
We are past the port again and look at the Loch and it’s little sailing ⛵️ boats.
From here we decide we walk up some side streets to have a better view over the village. The road is steep.
Are you still with me? Come up we can do it 😎☃️
The view will be worth it. 🤩
Looking back we see… the village is disappearing… 😯 I think we don’t go up further as this is the wrong hill… to see it from the side.
This view does show some beautiful #cloud #formations though.
