MARGARITA: HOTEL LD PLUS - PART 2

In my previous post I told you that I won a trip to Margarita for a weekend and I took the opportunity to record every moment of the trip and then transform it into content for this platform 😁. In this post in the form of a video we are going to show you the lodging place of this wonderful adventure 🗺.

The lodging prize was fulfilled at the LD Plus Palm Beach hotel, located in Playa El Agua, 45 minutes away from the Santiago Mariño International Airport in Porlamar. It is a luxury hotel with 24-hour all-inclusive service. It is one of the complexes that is part of the hotel chain LD'Hoteles, with 17 years of experience in the tourism and hotel market. It has 5 hotels on Margarita Island, 3 of them located in Playa El Agua.

We were able to talk with the receptionist, Heverys Rosado, who kindly attended us on Friday night when we arrived to check in, and who gave us a brief description of what we could enjoy during our stay. I told him what happened at the airport with my suitcase and he tried to locate stores open at that time (9:00 pm) in other resorts, but since it was low season they had nothing available. I decided to improvise with what I had in my carry-on suitcase and enjoy every moment 😇.

The hotel is exclusive; the lobby area is beautifully decorated with works of art, has a modern style, with nice lighting and very pleasant ambient music, which make you feel very calm and relaxed in the common areas. The rooms are spacious, cozy and have a mini terrace overlooking the pool area. They left us cookies and cotufas as a welcome gift 😍.

The buffet restaurant is spacious and comfortable to spend pleasant moments enjoying the varied gastronomic offer. In addition, the hotel has two bars, one at the pool and one on the beach that offer a wide variety of snacks and drinks with or without alcohol. very good! I really liked the pool because it is tailor-made for me 😂😜.

The hotel is 200 meters from Playa El Agua, you can go walking because it is a very short way, or in the transport arranged for it, which has a schedule from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm. I recommend going to the beach in the late afternoon, where you can enjoy the sunset with a drink of your choice at the hotel bar, on the sand or on the poufs provided for it.

What places to visit in Margarita?

We talked to some people on the beach and at the hotel, and some even wanted to participate in video shots and we asked the following questions: What are your favorite tourist sites that you recommend to tourists in Margarita? and What is the Margarita filling of a homemade arepa? This we will tell you in the next posts.

Here are some of the most common places of interest that they recommended: Basilica Nuestra Señora Del Valle; Playa El Agua and El Fortín de la Galera. In this opportunity and for time reasons, we stayed only in Playa El Agua. When I was a child I was able to visit some of them and they are really unforgettable, so I hope to go back and explore the rest of the island, and now even more so that I can share it with you in this space.

En mi post anterior les conté que me gané un viaje a Margarita por un fin de semana y que aproveché de registrar cada momento del paseo para luego transformarlo en contenido para esta plataforma 😁. En este post en forma de video te vamos a mostrar el lugar de hospedaje de esta maravillosa aventura 🗺.

El premio del alojamiento se cumplió en el hotel LD Plus Palm Beach, ubicado en Playa El Agua, a 45 minutos del Aeropuerto Internacional Santiago Mariño en Porlamar. Es un hotel de lujo con servicio todo incluido las 24 horas. Es uno de los complejos que forma parte de la cadena hotelera LD´Hoteles, con 17 años de experiencia en el mercado turístico y de hotelería. Cuenta con 5 hoteles en la Isla de Margarita, 3 de ellos ubicados en Playa El Agua.

Pudimos conversar con la recepcionista, Heverys Rosado, que amablemente nos atendió la noche del viernes cuando llegamos a registrarnos, y quien nos dio una breve descripción de lo que podíamos disfrutar durante nuestra estadía. Le conté lo sucedido en el aeropuerto con mi maleta e intentó ubicar en otros complejos hoteleros tiendas abiertas a esa hora (9:00 pm) pero por ser temporada baja no tenían nada disponible. Decidí improvisar con lo que tenía en la maleta de mano y disfrutar de cada momento 😇.

El hotel es exclusivo; el área del lobby está bellamente decorada con obras de arte, tiene un estilo moderno, con bonita iluminación y música de ambiente muy agradable, que te hacen sentir muy tranquilo y relajado en las áreas comunes. Las habitaciones son amplías, acogedoras y tienen una mini terraza con vista al área de la piscina. Nos dejaron de regalo de bienvenida galletas y cotufas 😍.

El restaurante tipo buffet es amplío y cómodo para pasar ratos amenos disfrutando de la variada oferta gastronómica. Además, el hotel cuenta dos bares, uno en la piscina y otro en la playa que ofrecen una amplia variedad de snacks y bebidas con o sin alcohol. ¡Muy bueno! La piscina me gustó mucho porque está hecha a mi medida, 😂😜.

El hotel está a 200 metros de Playa El Agua, puedes ir caminando porque es un trayecto muy corto, o en el transporte dispuesto para ello, que tiene un horario de 09:00 am a 06:00 pm. Les recomiendo ir a la playa al final de la tarde, donde puedes disfrutar del atardecer con alguna bebida de tu agrado en el bar del hotel, en la arena o en los pufs dispuestos para ello.

¿Qué lugares visitar en Margarita?

Conversamos con algunas personas en la playa y en el hotel, e incluso algunas quisieron participar en tomas de video y le hicimos las siguientes preguntas: ¿Cuáles son sus sitios turísticos predilectos que recomiendas a los turistas en Margarita? y ¿Cuál es el relleno margariteño de una arepa casera? Te adelantamos algunos sitios de interés más comunes que ellos nos recomendaron: Basílica Nuestra Señora Del Valle; Playa El Agua y El Fortín de la Galera. En esta oportunidad y por razones de tiempo, nos quedamos solo en Playa El Agua. Cuando era niña pude visitar algunos de ellos y son realmente inolvidables, así que espero volver y explorar el resto de la isla, y ahora más aún que puedo compartirlo con ustedes en este espacio.
