zu der aktuellen Folge meines Blogs Travel around the world. Heute wird es wieder mediterran, es geht nach Griechenland. Um genau zu sein nach Rhodos. Eine traumhafte Insel auf der es viel zu erleben gibt aber schaut selbst.
Unser Hotel, das Magic Life, lag ganz im Süden der Insel in Plimirri. Fahrt vom Flughafen Rhodos ca. 1,5 Stunden. Ort Plimirri ist etwas zu viel gesagt, eigentlich sind es nur 3 Hotels, ein kleiner Hafen, und eine Taverne.
Das Hotel war wie bei Magic Life gewohnt sehr gut.

to the current episode of my blog Travel around the world. Today it will be Mediterranean again, it goes to Greece. To be exact to Rhodes. A beautiful island on which there is much to experience but see for yourself.
Our hotel, the Magic Life, was located in the very south of the island in Plimirri. Drive from Rhodes airport about 1.5 hours. Place Plimirri is a little too much said, actually it is only 3 hotels, a small port, and a tavern.
The hotel was very good as usual with Magic Life.

Abends war alles schön beleuchtet und das Hotel in magisches Licht getaucht.
In the evening everything was beautifully lit and the hotel was bathed in magical light.
Jeden Abend unvergessliche Sonnenuntergänge die zum Täumen einladen.
Every evening unforgettable sunsets that invite you to dream.
Das Essen war hervorragend, insbesondere in den Spezialitäten Restaurants mit Showcooking.
The food was excellent, especially in the specialty restaurants with show cooking.
Hier der Blick auf die einsame Bucht und den Hafen in der das Hotel lag.
Here is the view of the secluded bay and harbor in which the hotel was located.
Direkt am Hafen auch die Taverne, in der die wortwörtlich frischen Kalmare serviert wurden.
Directly at the harbor also the tavern where the literally fresh squids were served.
Direkt nebenan noch die Jahrhunderte alte Dorfkapelle, die auch eine Besichtigung wert war.
Right next door still the centuries-old village chapel, which was also worth a visit.
Der Kieselstrand war ideal für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge oder auch die ein oder andere schweißtreibende Joggingrunde.
The pebble beach was ideal for long walks or even the one or other sweaty jogging round.
Ausflüge zum Erkunden der Insel durften natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Hier unsere erste Tour mit dem Kajak auf den Wellen.
Excursions to explore the island were of course not to be missed. Here our first tour with the kayak on the waves.
Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch ein Tagesausflug mit dem Glasbodenboot.
A day trip with the glass bottom boat is also highly recommended.
Hier geht es dann vorbei an tiefen Höhlen, die gerne von Tauchern besucht werden.
Here you will pass deep caves, which are often visited by divers.
Bis hin zu einsamen Buchten in denen man herrlich schnorcheln und baden kann.
Up to lonely bays in which one can snorkel and swim wonderfully.
Auch eine Mountainbiketour durchs Hinterland habe ich mir nicht nehmen lassen. Bei den Schotterpisten gab es jedoch auch den ein oder anderen Sturz von Teilnehmern. Glücklicherweise nicht ich, bin ja ein Pro😂.
I also took a mountain bike tour through the hinterland. With the gravel roads, however, there was also the one or other fall of participants. Fortunately not me, because I am a Pro😂.
Eine ganz tolle Erfahrung ist auch ein Tagesausflug nach Lindos mit seinem antiken Tempel ober auf dem Berg über der Stadt. Mit grandiosen Ausblicken und greifbarer Geschichte.
A quite great experience is also a day trip to Lindos with its ancient temple above on the mountain above the city. With terrific views and tangible history.

Und am letzen tag des Urlaubs dann das Highlight für unsere Kinder im Hotel. SCHAUMPARTY im Pool!

Ein klasse Urlaub der für alle etwas bereit hielt. Wir kommen sicher wieder, denn auf der Insel gibt es noch so viel mehr zu entdecken.
