Yo Hivers!
Last week I traveled and visited the famous hanging bridge here in our area called "Cloud 9" It was located in Antipolo, Rizal Philippines.
Due in large part to its accessibility and proximity to Manila, Antipolo has grown to become one of the most well-liked weekend getaway locations. Despite the city's densely populated center, its hilly edges have a rural beauty and feel that attracts anyone looking for a brief diversion from the city. This explains why the city is dotted with dreamy spa resorts, innovative eateries, and tranquil parks.
The Cloud 9 Sports and Leisure Club, which was initially made available to the general public as a restaurant in the year 1995, is one of the more well-known recreation facilities. It ultimately comprised accommodations and other facilities for entertainment and activities.
However, the 360° View Deck, which offers a panoramic view of the surroundings and a spectacular sunset, is the primary attraction. This vantage point is reached through an exhilarating hanging bridge.
To access the bridge and see the amazing view you need to
purchased your ticket first.
The ticket price is 2.11 USD or Php120 in pesos. This allows you to enjoy all the perks including the whole building, view deck, museum, art gallery the hanging bridge.
Before I went to the view deck I enjoyed myself first in the lobby where I saw antique figures and memorabilia
This vintage sports car amazed me so I took a picture with it, I looked for a flat surface and set a timer in my phone so I could get a nice angle.
360 Building
In this deck, you can witness the buildings around the metro.
The overlooking view is just excellent and therapeutic.
The Museum
There's a mini museum connected to the hanging bridge, so you need to get through it first then the hanging bridge is waiting. There an ancient ceramics, pots, jars, vases, and even ancient weapons including swords, spears, and also some religious figures inside.
The Hanging Bridge
I was afraid to step on my feet at first, however, but when I saw the couple maybe It was not that scary or perhaps I needed a partner as well but nah! I'm better alone lol!
After a few minutes, I successfully crossed the scary hanging bridge.
The middle part of the bridge was scary cause it was moving and swaying it's pretty high as well. I looked down for a moment and it caused me unsteady and freaked me out, so I calmed myself and focused on the bridge until I reached the deck.
The 360 View Deck
I noticed some padlocks, a single and doubled. I'm pretty sure that it came from the tourists as well and no doubt that the single one symbolizes self-love while the double padlock is for those in a relationship. Uhhh! Good for them! I hope the owner of these are in good condition and happy.
The 360 degree is fascinating and breathtaking!
The viewing deck offers a 360-degree panorama of the city.
It was an astonishing experience, I have an Acrophobia, or simply the fear of heights and this place helps to cope with it.
Soon I can conquer this fear!
That's it for today's blog. Thank you for reading
