Today I will talk about the Rahmi Koç Museum, which has a perfect location and works. I came here with prejudices.
But all the negative prejudices I had from the moment I entered were replaced with admiration.
When we say museum, everyone thinks of classic museums. I also thought of a museum that contains works from history and tells about the old culture. But this place, unlike all these, remained in my mind as a place that houses the old and the new, working together and being both aesthetic and informative.

Bu gün burda mükemmel bir konuma ve eserlere sahip olan Rahmi Koç Müzesinden bahsedeceğim. Buraya geldiğimde önyargılı bir şekilde gelmiştim.
Ama girişten itibaren bulunduğum tüm olumsuz ön yargılar yerine hayranlığa bıraktı.
Müze diyince herkesin aklına klasik müzeler gelir. Benimde aklıma tarihten eserler barındıran eski kültürü anlatan bir müzelerden biri geldi. Ama burası tüm bunların aksine eski ile yeni barındıran ikisini birlikte işleyen hem estetik hemde bilgilendiri bir yer olarak aklımda kaldı.
We were lucky to have staff guiding us during our tour of the museum. They explained each place in detail. It felt like a reflection of the industrial age. Of course, not all sections. Some places, especially cars, are completely personal tastes.
The antique cars are the ones that everyone is most interested in. While visiting the museum, I witnessed people walking around and taking photos there the most.
These cars are actually the first cars of today's brands that you call legendary and that everyone dreams of. I couldn't believe how beautiful the old cars looked. I asked the museum officials if these cars were working. They told me that they were all working and sometimes their places were changed. They also said that sometimes they were taken out.
Müzeyi gezimiz esnasında bizlere rehberlik eden görevliler olduğu için şanlıydık. Her bir yeri ayrı bir detayla anlatılar. Burası sanayi çağının yansıması gibi geldi. Tabi tüm bölümleri değil. Bazı yerler özellikle arabalar tamamen kişisel zevkleri içinde barındırıyor.
Tüm herkesin de en çok ilgisini çeken antika arabalar oluyor. Müzeyi gezerken insanlarım en çok orda gezip fotoğraf çektiğine şahit oldum.
Bu arabalar aslında herkesin hayalini kurduğu efsane diye nitelediginiz günümüz markalarının ilk arabalarından. Eski arabaların bu kadar güzel gözüktüğü inanamadım doğrusu. Müze yetkililerine bu arabaların çalıştığını sordum. Bana hepsinin çalıştığını ve bazen yerlerinin değiştiğini söylediler. Bazende dışarı çıkardıklarını ifade ettiler.
I told you about the location of this museum. It is right on the seashore and it is a place where there are old antique yachts. They all look as solid as the first day. They look very good visually. As someone who loves the sea, I watched this view deeply for a while.
Sizlere bu Müzenin konumundan bahsetmiştim. Denizin tam kiyinda ve içerinde eski antika yatların bulunduğu bir yer. Hepsi daha ilk günkü sağlamlığında gibi duruyor. Görsel olarak çok iyi gözüküyorlar. Denizi seven birisi olarak bu manzarı derince biraz izledim.
One of the sections that caught my attention the most was the oil factory. This oil factory has a very original machine inside the museum that produces olive oil and shows where technology was in the 1900s. The machine has survived to the present day in good condition. The engines used are also displayed in a different section. We had the opportunity to see every single part.
En çok ilgimi çeken bölümlerden biriside yağ fabrikası oldu. Bu yağ fabrikası zeytinyağı üreten müzenin içeride 1900 lü yıllarda teknolojinin nerde olduğunu gösteren çok orijinal bir makinaya sahip.
Makina günümüze kadar sağlam bir şekilde gelmiş durumda. Kullanılan motorlarıda farklı bir bölümde göstermektedir. Her bir parçasını görme fırsatımız oldu.
In this museum, a separate area has been opened for each section. This clearly shows what you have visited and seen. The handicrafts section is very well and eye-catchingly designed. In this section, people feel differently. They encounter the image of a different era.

This section of the museum is devoted to rail systems. Trains that were cut centuries ago are exhibited here. It is possible to come across trains of every class. They all have their own unique magnificence. From horse-drawn trains to coal-powered trains, they are all in a different style.
Müzenin bu bölümde raylı sistemlere yer verilmiş. Yüz yıllar öncesinde biçilmiş trenler burada sergileniyor. Her sınıftan trenle karşılaşmak mümkün. Hepsinin kendine özgü ihtişamı var. At ile çekilen trenlerden tutun kömür ile çalışan trenlere kadar hepsi ayrı bir tarzda.
We had the opportunity to see and get to know many beautiful works that we came across at the Rahmi Koç Museum. It is possible to see everything about the past here. We witnessed how beautiful and high-quality works the past produced.
