Something I love about Lima is the great cultural offer, this time I met a beautiful place called "Ciudad Librera", obviously with my partner in crime @circogatto. We went to see the screening of the movie "Little Women" (of which I wrote this post), I had already seen a couple of reels on insta of how the place looked, but when we arrived I was amazed.
First of all we arrived almost directly to the terrace because it was getting close to the screening time and we had to occupy a table, the terrace works as a small restaurant/cafeteria/bar, we ordered some potatoes of which I didn't take pictures because we were eating them while we were watching the screening haha.
The terrace is comfortable and very beautiful! Ciudad Librera is in front of "Plaza de los libertadores", I'll go there another time with natural light and I'll show it to you better.
After the movie we took our time to get to know the place.
The first floor is a beautiful bookstore with books on a variety of subjects.
Each genre has its own section. You can tell that they have put a lot of time, creativity and desire into the decoration, it is a great place to take pictures in every corner.
I think my favorite sections in terms of theme and decoration were "music", "comics" and "children and youth", did you like any of them in particular?
They also sell merchandise related to books.
I found it curious how they adapted the "gift" or "purchase" surprise.
And games to win books or for fun :)
As in all magical spaces you can not miss a furry, and in this case we have a beautiful and talkative orange kitten, I wish I could understand everything he was telling us haha he gave a lot to respect his personal space and only let himself be petted a little, I imagine him sprawled sleeping on each of the shelves and tables of the bookstore.
They are open from Wednesday to Sunday, it seems that until late at night, it would be around 11 pm when we left, and have a variety of activities as u can see in the sign.
The kitten was with his protective work taking care of our bikes (or maybe he was just running away from people who came down from the terrace and wanted to give him some love).

Algo que amo de Lima es a gran oferta cultural que hay, en esta ocasión conocí un sitio precioso llamado "Ciudad Librera", obviamente con mi compañero de aventuras @circogatto. Fuimos a ver la proyección de la película "Mujercitas" (de la cual escribí este post), ya había visto un par de reels en insta de como se veía el lugar, pero cuando llegamos quede asombrada.
Primero que nada llegamos casi directamente a la terraza porque se acercaba la hora de comenzar la proyección y debíamos ocupar una mesa, la terraza funciona como un pequeño restaurant/cafetería/bar, ordenamos unas papas de las que no tome fotos porque las comíamos mientras veíamos la proyección haha
¡La terraza es cómoda y muy hermosa! Ciudad Librera queda frente a "Plaza de los libertadores", iré en otra ocasión con luz natural y se las mostraré mejor.
Al acabar la película tomamos nuestro tiempo para conocer el lugar.
La planta baja es una librería preciosa con libros en gran variedad de temas.
Cada género tiene su sección. Se nota que le han puesto mucho tiempo, creatividad y ganas a la decoración, provoca tomarse fotos en cada rincón
Creo que mis secciones favoritas en cuanto al tema y la decoración fueron las de "música", "comics" e "infantil y juvenil", a ustedes les gusto alguna en especial?
También venden mercancía relacionada con los libros.
Me pareció curioso como adaptaron lo de “regalo” o “compra” sorpresa.
Y juegos para ganar libros o por diversión :)
Como en todos los espacios mágicos no puede faltar un peludito, y en este caso tenemos a un precioso y parlanchín gatito naranja, quisiera poder entender todo lo que nos decía haha daba mucho a respetar su espacio personal y solo se dejó acariciar un poco, me lo imagino desparramado durmiendo en cada uno de los estantes y mesas de la librería
Abren de miércoles a domingo, parece que hasta entrada la noche, serían por ahí las 11 pm cuando nos fuimos, tienen variedad de actividades, como pueden ver en el cartel.
El gatito estaba con su labor protectora cuidando nuestras bicicletas (o quizá solo estaba huyendo de la gente que bajaba de la terraza y querían darle amorcito)
