History🙇‍♂️👨‍🏫/Historia🕋📚

Jug dating from the 5th century🧠

It is important to know a little about the history of the founding of Rome to learn more about its culture, there is a legend that was told to the youngest of the empire where a powerful and great city is shown that was founded by a couple of brothers whose name was : "Remo and Romulo", and although there is no text that confirms this information, it is also estimated that the foundation occurred in the month of April in the year 753 BC.🧠🌍

Did you know that the Roman Empire ruled the West for approximately 600 years and the East for more than 1000 years. How incredible? While walking through the museum I passed through a fantastic tunnel that literally took me on a journey back in time when the Romans ruled Portugal, now Well, the most "accepted" legend about the founding of Rome was that "Romulus took the life of his brother Remus and then baptized the city with his name" this because of a dispute over who would be the governor! however there are other legends about how the city arose.📚👀😮

Beginnings of rome🙇‍♂️👨‍🏫/Inicios de Roma🕋📚

I know that the Romans were not a "peaceful" civilization... In fact, one of their popular sayings is: "if you want peace, prepare for war", but this aspect is one of the most interesting in Rome because they were great military strategists, many of his military tactics are used today in some anti-riot police", let's say it was a legacy for life". Rome when it was founded was not impressive at all, it grew next to the Tiber river like many other cities, but over time it grew in territory and power and all this was thanks to trade!😮👀🌏

Roman architecture🧠

From very early history showed how intelligent the Romans were, having built the city next to the river provided a river trade route by means of ships, we can say that early Rome was ruled by "seven kings", highlighting Romulus and culminating in Tarquinio", I had already mentioned it previously in one of my posts but when the Greeks arrived in Rome from "the south" they were the starting point to catapult civilization since many of their scientific and military contributions were inspired by the greeks!🧠🌍

Few of us know the "Etruscan" civilization but they, like the Greeks, were determinant for learning good trade, this is a debate that is open to this day but it is a reality that the Etruscans were the ones who taught the art of trade to the Romans between: "650-600 BC", okay... The Romans were not quintessential innovators compared to the Egyptians but they were excellent at "borrowing" cultures, skills and perfecting them! then Rome went from being a small commercial city to a world super power between the centuries: VIII-VI before Christ." When Rome was established as a republic it was by Lucio who dismissed Tarquinio". And at this point in history ROME IS A SUPER POWER WITH A REPUBLIC AND A SENATE.📚🤯

The Empire🙇‍♂️👨‍🏫/El imperio🕋📚

When we hear Rome the first thing that comes to mind is: "Julius Caesar" right? why will it be? at this point Julius Caesar was the most powerful man in Rome and his term would end when he was proclaimed "dictator by the senate". But we cannot detract from Crassus, Pompey who together with Cesar made Rome richer and richer with their conquests! Despite being seen as a dictator by the Senate, Julio Cesar was very loved by the people since his ambition was to "create a prosperous and stable nation"! sadly the great Caesar was assassinated by a group of the senate in 44 before christ!🤔💥🌏

Conspiracy🙇‍♂️👨‍🏫/Conspiracion🕋📚

Roman architecture🧠

Casio and Brutus were the characters who conspired against the powerful Caesar who, over the years, became a figure almost proclaimed a "living god" for his victories and riches! Seeing that Julius Caesar was prospering fast, Casio and his fellow conspirator thought that Caesar could abolish the senate and become "the only king to rule the empire."🧠🌍

Antonio y Cleopatra VII🙇‍♂️👨‍🏫/Antonio and Cleopatra VII🕋📚

For me, one of the most interesting Roman events is when the triumvirate was disputed between the heir of Julio Cesar, Antonio, Gaius and Emilio! What happens is that in 31 BC Antonio had a relationship with Cleopatra VII both joined forces to fight against Octavian! however they lost and later Antony and Cleopatra commit suicide! and this made Octavian the only one to rule Rome in 27 BC! The senate gave him great power and changed his name to: "Augustus" being the first emperor of Rome! This is when the history of the beginning of the Roman Empire is written!👀🩸💥

Pleasure in Rome without limits🙇‍♂️👨‍🏫/El placer en Roma sin limites🕋📚

We all know about the great orgies that resulted in the celebrations of the Romans and we thought that they were a sick civilization! but in reality it ends up being all cultural, back then sex was a symbol of pleasure and power, and there was no discrimination in homosexuality! and here we see many paintings of various sexual positions!🧠😮👨‍🏫

Did you know that the Romans believed that priests could read the future using the entrails of animals?🤔👨‍🏫
