Nothing beats witnessing the beauty of nature in Bukidnon, my home, not to mention the picturesque scenery at Capitan Bayong, Impasugong, Bukidnon, Philippines with its amazing mountain ridges.
Tripping down memory lane, I was in awe of the beautiful surroundings before me after I went to the breathtaking ranch. Curious as I was, I left away from the spot and walked a distance away to discover more.
I remember back then, my classmate in post-graduate studies invited me to visit this place together with our friends, but we always ended up postponing the travel due to time constraints. He was dwelling in this place. I never realized how beautiful this is until I have been here last time.
Who would never love this place with an enchanting ambiance? And here are some quick shots as I strolled around the destination.
Upon walking towards the west, I was so mesmerized to see more breathtaking views. And yes, I discovered how evergreen the mountain vistas were as they have different contours making the view so extraordinary.
There were wild grasses surrounding the mountain ranges but I am so amazed at their existence as well for they have even added natural beauty to the contouring mountains. Even from afar, I witnessed how enchanting the place was and I felt like I was in a wonderland. Here are more of the photos from another angle.
In between the mountains, there was a clear and free-flowing river. How I wish I could go there but it has another path. I could not go there directly since I was standing on a portion guarded by wires. I have seen How the place became a rich habitat for creatures and I must say that this place is truly home not only to the people of Impasugong but also to all the species living in this area.
It feels like the mountain ranges are like real-life paintings. If I were an artist, surely I would love making a craft of this beautiful spot, but all I could do was capture the moment and seize the day. The various shades of green even made me more alive and the calming sky made my day extra special.
How To Get Here
Two ways of coming here are from Cagayan De Oro City to Impasugong or from Valencia City to Impasugong. Anyone could ride a private car or a bus to either of the destinations. But it would be better to ride a 4by4 vehicle since the road going here is bumpy.
The first stop should be the Impasugong Tourism Center which is located at the highway where the huge statues and panika were found. Environmental fees and permits must be secured first. Then after, follow the tour guides and enjoy the enchanting beauty of Impasugong.
As I continued taking snaps, I was so thrilled to see more and I even noticed rare plants I had not seen even before. Perhaps the beauty of nature always captivates my soul and this place is a perfect getaway for retreats and even just a simple walk or stroll. What a great feeling to be here and I am looking forward to more travel escapades in Bukidnon, my home.
