Have been to New Zealand? Ah! It is one of my favorite countries to travel and it seemed I found a unique place similar to it here in my province, not to mention the Communal Ranch of Impasugong, Bukidnon, Philippines has a New Zealand vibe.
I have mentioned in my previous post that I found solace in my dream destination. And yes, it is the New Zealand of Bukidnon.
The picturesque landscape in the Communal Ranch captivated my heart. If I could tell one word to describe the place, I must say that it is mesmerizing. I felt relaxed as I witnessed the combination of green and brown colors that created a beautiful spectrum of colors. And yes, the view is cinematically spectacular with a New Zealand vibe.
I was truly amazed by the extraordinary contours of the mountains, along with the pine tree plantation, and many vegetation surrounding g the ranch that is nestled in Mt. Kulago of Barangay Dumalaguing, and Barangay Bontongon which can be seen from the main spot.
When I arrived there, there were many tourists and travelers. It was a little gloomy and the rain showered me a little but later on, it turned into perfect weather for photography lovers like me.
Impasugong, Bukidnon is popularly known as the home of the finest Cowboys in the country. A little back story of the place, according to the local government of Impasugong, it is the only local government unit that owns a ranch with more than 600 hectares that is located in Barangay Capitan Bayong.
I remember when I was younger, Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual were once here since this was the site of the famous setting of the film, “Love Me Again”. If you have watched this movie, you would be familiar that the movie was set in the Communal Ranch of Impasugong, Bukidnon.
Behold, Impasugong, Bukidnon! The heat of the Sun, the rain, and the Sun burns were all worth it as my feet led me there the other day. What a perfect place to relax and unwind for a moment. When I arrived there, the weather was so perfect to take candid shots and I truly enjoyed the moment.
Aside from the majestic mountain backdrop, an awe-inspiring man-made pond on the ranch was a perfect view for travelers to take candid shots and even prenup shots or any celebration at all. The pictures of the mountains on the opposite side mirror the blue and white colors of the sky and clouds with the magical sight that captivated my heart and soul.
On the other portion of the ranch, there were two Cowboy quarters which could also be used as a function Hall for many events. There was a small cafe with hot beverages and menus that were so delicious. Some of the activities at the ranch include a rodeo, trail riding, hiking to the waterfall, camping, horseback riding, and many outdoor events that are possible on the ranch.
