Hello Hivers, welcome! In this post, I'll talk about going to a museum in my hometown. I can easily ride my motorcycle there because it's not far from my village. Perhaps we already know about the Samudera Pasai museum because we are from North Aceh, which includes the city of Lhokseumawe and its surrounds.

For students, like myself, who have visited the museum to view historical artifacts, it may also be a very valuable educational location. Here students can learn about the Malikussaleh kingdom's history in Samudera Pasai and get a close-up look at the artifacts that are left behind as remnants of the Malikussaleh kingdom.

Additionally, this museum was constructed close to the tomb of Sultan Malikussaleh, the monarch (king) of the Samudera Pasai kingdom. If we look closely, we will notice that this structure has an architectural style that is similar to a great mosque, drawing people in with its stunning dome.

We can learn about the past of the Pasai marine empire by visiting this museum. Perhaps many of us Acehnese are already familiar with the earliest events leading to the creation of the Samudera Pasai empire.

Additionally, the early advent of Islam in the Aceh region is also part of the history of this kingdom. We anticipate that through building this museum, more people would be able to understand Islamic history and our historical identity.

The Samudera Pasai museum building shape is something that visitors frequently stop by to observe up close. Sadly, this museum is no longer open to the public to view the interior of the structure because I came in the afternoon.

Most of the time, especially on particular days like holidays, there will be a lot of visitors. Selfies are a common way for guests to remember their visit, and we were no exception on that particular day.

This area was frequently used as a pre-wedding photo setting in the early days of its establishment. It is suggested to arrive earlier for guests who want to see historical heritage pieces on specific days.

The museum is open three days a week until 17.00 WIB on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This museum keeps a lot of historical artifacts as teaching tools for tourists.

All historical items connected to the Samudera Pasai Kingdom were added following the museum 2019 opening.

Swords, dirhams, coins, books, sagas from the Malikussaleh empire, and even the remnants of the Malikussaleh royal building are among the diverse items on display in the Samudera Pasai museum. Even though there are numerous reproductions of these items, there are still many historically significant items from the Samudera Pasai Islamic empire that are meticulously stored there.

We all have a lot to learn from the past that can help us gain experience and teach us valuable lessons. My son was glad that he could roam around this structure even if I only came in the afternoon.

Additionally, there are many reading materials that educate us. Therefore, I cordially welcome you to explore this museum and discover its heritage.

I'm hoping to enter this structure later so I can share the pictures I took inside the museum. This concludes my post, I hope you find it enjoyable. I appreciate your feedback.
