Hello friends, in today's article I want to share several shots of the city of Venice, in different seasons of the year, I have been lucky enough to visit this beautiful place several times in my life, and also in different seasons, so maybe I want to give some useful tips on how to best enjoy a visit to this fantastic city.
From my point of view, the best way to explore the city is to go on foot. I recommend very comfortable shoes because there is a lot of road to do, but in this way you can see all the interesting points of Venice, travelling by vaporetto would make you lose this view.
In fact, I can assure you that I have visited Venice several times, and on each new occasion I always find something interesting to see and to note down.
In Venice there are so many possibilities to buy a souvenir, but you have to be very careful because so much of the merchandise that is offered for sale is not original, although it happens every now and then to find in its beautiful streets that are the calli, artists who create something at the moment for you, and this can be a beautiful souvenir of Venice.
I too bought a beautiful painting some time ago so that every day when I wake up in the morning I can have a window on Venice.
Surely another thing to see in Venice, which is unfortunately given little consideration, are its very characteristic bridges, and you will be spoilt for choice because there are so many of them in Venice, even several that are crooked, this due to the fact that Venice is never stable.
But so many people always ask me what is the best season to visit Venice?
Honestly, there isn't a perfect season to visit Venice, although at certain times of the year I really don't recommend visiting the city. After the pandemic, Venice has become more and more visited, and you certainly find fewer people in the autumn, but you have to be careful when the carnival is on, because there are usually a lot of people.
Although it seems that they are going to find a solution to this problem of too many people, in fact it is very likely that from next year they will put a ticket to enter Venice in order to better manage the influx of tourists so that the city becomes more liveable.
Many people don't agree with this but I have tried to visit it when there are so many people and its narrow streets become really unmanageable.
One last thing Venice is not suitable for those who are afraid of pigeons,
like many Italian but also European cities, Venice is full of these birds which, in any case, do not bother some people but they are scary.
I hope you found this post interesting and thank you for reading it
