After days filled with exploration, sightseeing, and soaking in the culture of Benalmádena, I decided to dedicate my twelfth day of vacation to something more laid-back, a full day at the beach. My destination was Playa Bonita, it is amazing place!!

Depois de dias repletos de exploração, turismo e imersão na cultura de Benalmádena, decidi dedicar o meu décimo segundo dia de férias a algo mais descontraído, um dia inteiro de praia. O meu destino era Playa Bonita, que é um local espetacular!
As I woke up early that morning, I noticed that the weather was a bit overcast. The sky was covered with a blanket of clouds, which muted the brightness of the sun. However, the temperature was still quite pleasant, not too hot but warm enough to make a day at the beach enjoyable.
I gathered my beach essentials, towels, sunscreen and a good book and set out for Playa Bonita with my family. The beach was just a short drive from our apartment, and we arrived there within minutes.

Ao acordar cedo, nessa manhã, reparei que o tempo estava um pouco nublado. O céu estava coberto por um manto de nuvens, que abafava o brilho do sol. No entanto, a temperatura ainda era bastante agradável, não demasiado quente, mas quente o suficiente para tornar agradável um dia de praia.
Juntei os meus essenciais de praia, toalhas, protetor solar e um bom livro e parti para a Playa Bonita com a minha família. A praia ficava a uma curta distância de carro do nosso apartamento e chegámos lá em poucos minutos.
Playa Bonita lived up to its name, which translates to 'Pretty Beach' in English. The beach was a crescent shaped stretch of golden sand, bordered by rocky outcrops on either side. The sand was soft and inviting, and as we made our way down to the water, I could see that the beach was not too crowded likely due to the overcast weather.

Playa Bonita fez jus ao seu nome, que significa 'Pretty Beach' em inglês. A praia era uma extensão de areia dourada em forma de meia-lua, rodeada por afloramentos rochosos de ambos os lados. A areia era macia e convidativa e, à medida que descíamos até à água, pude constatar que a praia não estava muito cheia, provavelmente devido ao tempo nublado.
We found a perfect spot near the water's edge, where we could easily dip our toes into the sea whenever we wanted. After laying out our towels and setting up our beach umbrella, we all took a moment to take in the view.
One of the first things I noticed was the temperature of the water. It was pleasantly cool, a refreshing contrast to the warmth of the air. While it wasn’t as warm as it might have been on a sunnier day, the water temperature was still comfortable enough for swimming.

Encontrámos um local perfeito perto da beira da água, onde podíamos facilmente mergulhar os pés no mar sempre que quiséssemos. Depois de estendermos as toalhas e de montarmos o nosso guarda-sol, parámos todos um momento para apreciar a vista.
Uma das primeiras coisas que reparei foi a temperatura da água. Estava agradavelmente fresco, um contraste refrescante com o calor do ar. Embora não estivesse tão quente como poderia estar num dia mais ensolarado, a temperatura da água ainda era confortável o suficiente para nadar.
The day at Playa Bonita was a wonderful opportunity for my family to unwind and spend quality time together. The beach had a relaxed, unhurried vibe that made it easy to forget about everything else and simply enjoy the moment.

Playa Bonita had given us exactly what we needed, a day of relaxation, fun, and family bonding. It was a day that reminded me of the simple pleasures in life and the importance of taking time to enjoy them.
