"THE ATOMIUM" BRUSSELS.

in #hive-163772last month

Hello Hive Community.

I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. My post today is based on #worldmappin where I present to you an amazing piece of architecture. My #worldmappin post today is based on beautiful city scenes apart from natural scenes. In which, standing on the top of this place, the beautiful scenes of Brussels have been presented to you. The beauty of the city increases from the height which can be seen in these photographs. In today's post I have presented before you the photographs of The Atomium. The distinctive feature of The Atomium is its round architecture. Which makes this building more beautiful and amazing than other buildings. The Atomium is a unique architectural landmark and museum located in Brussels, Belgium.

Above I have presented with you three photographs of atomium. Which presents a wonderful example of architecture. The Atomium was originally built for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. The atomium was created for another reason and is now used for other reasons. Atomium was founded in Brussels World Fair which I told you earlier. An atomium represents an iron crystal in which nine crystal spheres are joined together to form a beautiful building.

Nine crystal spheres are formed to form the Atomium. Among those nine spheres, the middle three spheres are parallel in a single line. Where a lift has also been built to reach the top sphere from the bottom. The beautiful crystal building of the Atomium can be seen in the first of the two photographs above. So in the second photograph there is also a lift arrangement to reach the top crystal circle. To connect the two spheres and provide support, a circular pipe-like structure is made, inside of which there is a space big enough for the entire lift to pass through.

After reaching the top, a beautiful view of Brussels can be seen. The Mini-Europe miniature park is located right next to the Atomium. The entire Mini-Europe miniature park can be seen in the first of the three photographs above. that Mini-Europe miniature park showcases detailed scale models of famous European landmarks. Mini-Europe is a fascinating place that combines European landmark buildings in one place. Which makes it a must-visit place for tourists and locals alike. A huge football stadium is located next to the Mini-Europe miniature park. The roof of the football stadium can be seen in the photograph above.

Just opposite the Atomium is The Parc des Expositions de Bruxelles. I have presented you with four photographs of The Parc des Expositions de Bruxelles above in which you can see the building up close in each photograph. Parc des Expositions de Bruxelles also known as the Brussels Exhibition Centre. It is a leading venue for organizing huge trade shows, exhibitions and various events.

Even the vehicles parked in the huge parking lot look as small as an ant colony. The reason for this is the height of Atomium. Because the height of the highest crystal ball of Atomium is more than 100 meters. There is no wonder if anything looks small from such a height. Another surprise you will find is that these 9 crystal spheres each have a diameter of 18 meters. Its size makes it more beautiful. Out of the four photographs above, the last two photographs showing the roof of the building are of the trademark building.

Apart from that, if we don't let the surrounding buildings go, there is a wonderful view of the beautiful city as far as the eye can see. Apart from that, the football ground for practice is also captured in one of the three photographs above. Along with this, in the third photograph of these three photographs, beautiful lights are placed on the Atomium at a short distance. Which can be seen in the third photograph. These lights make the Atomium look amazing at night. I have also presented the evening photographs here.

When the lights on the nine spheres are turned on at dusk, the Atomium appears in a different form. So, if you know my experience, Atomium shines during the day due to its crystal look and even more beautiful at night due to the lights on the nine spheres. Which can be seen in the photographs above.

The Atomium is located in the Heysel area in Brussels, Belgium. It is quite easy to reach here by public transport. I feel that the Atomium is not only an architectural wonder but also a cultural center. Due to which Atomium continues to attract visitors from all over the world. With that, I will end my post today.
