A Journey From Matogun To Command, Lagos State.

Traveling is one of the activities that I love most and that is why you tend to see me go from one place to the other. As a matter of fact, I go from my shop to my family house to see my parents every weekend and it’s just about two hours travel, but is usually a stressful one because I have to board about four buses before I get to my destination. There is usually no direct bus to the house.
It’s my first time writing in this community and I hope I am highly welcomed.
Yesterday,I was coming back from my parents place and heading to my shop so I decided to share with you how the travel went and the routes I followed.

On the start of the journey, a neighbor of mine picked me up at the front of my house and promised to drop me close to my location which was where we will depart.
He drove me from Matogun, Ogun State to Iju Ishaga, Lagos. Matogun is a rural area with no banks, police station or not even a mall. Also, the roads are not tiled and I’m sure that’s why we lack so many things over there. I wasn’t sitting at the front of the car but I was still able to take pictures from the side.

This is exactly how it looked like and from Matogun bus stop, we headed to Lambe Junction which lead to Giwa bus stop. I also took a picture of Giwa bus stop and it’s nothing different from Matogun itself. Let’s take a look at Giwa bus stop.

Giwa bus stop is highly disorganized and there are so many cases of bike men hitting people anyhow just because of how rough the place is.
From Giwa bus stop, we headed to Iju Ishaga and my neighbor finally dropped me at Fagba bus stop. That’s when I can say that I have gotten to Lagos State and I can see times road, banks and so many other things that that lack in Matogun.
I took a picture at Fagba bus stop. Let’s have a look.

I think you can now see a bit of Lagos in this. Look at how this park is organized but not every part of Lagos looks clean like this too.
We got to Abule Egba and took a tricycle Command bus stop which was my preferred destination.

I finally got to my shop and the journey was quite stressful because I had to board like three buses and if my neighbor didn’t give me a lift, I’d have boarded four or five buses.
I’m glad I got to my shop very safe and immediately, I arranged the shop and got ready for the day sales.
Good for me, I made so much sales yesterday and I was able to restock immediately because if I do not restock, it is likely for me to spend the money.

I hope you enjoyed my travel and it also gave you an idea of what Matogun and other places look like.

This is my entry to the Dreemport contest on Worldmappin.
