Hello everyone. Our weekend excursion began at 5 a.m. in the Black Forest. Our goal was to reach Friedrichsturm, which offers the most beautiful view of Freudenstadt. We were in high spirits, having rested well and enjoyed a happy breakfast. We savored the morning and then set off. Parking here was free. So we left our car and began our hike up the mountain.

Along the way we encountered figures made of wood. It was interesting and as we progressed, we also saw the former inhabitant of the forest. With a hat on his head he seemed to be guarding the forest. We enjoyed observing them all and continued our journey with great pleasure.

We were enjoying the magnificent view. We don't often see such landscapes in the city. So whenever such an opportunity arises, we always sit back and enjoy it as if we were in paradise. Leaving the small restaurant behind we continued towards the tower. The weather was quite interesting, sometimes the wind blew fiercely and sometimes it stopped. We were constantly putting on and taking off our jackets to keep up.

We climbed a bit higher. The forest seemed to be singing, we stopped and rested, enjoying the songs of the birds. Here we saw informative panels indicating points of interest in the surroundings. There is so much to see and discover here. There are extraordinary beauties. We were near the bear park. But we didn't go there because we plan to visit zoos in big cities. There are various rest areas, it's a very pleasant place.

Passing through the park adorned with flowers and statues we reached the tower. This is the Herzog Friedrich Tower. There was a portrait of him at the door. The tower stands 800 meters above sea level. There was an information plaque at the door, we read that the tower is 25 meters high. This tower was built for the 300th anniversary of the city of Freudenstadt. There was carved history in the stone. The city was born in 1599 and this impressive castle was built in 1899.

We reached the top of the tower. The view here was amazing. In the distance, we could hear the bells ringing in the church and the birds chirping cheerfully. We enjoyed the beautiful views and interesting architectural details.

On the way back we encountered different figures, walking and observing the surroundings. There is a restaurant along our route. Here you can have breakfast, lunch, and enjoy nature with a magnificent view. We saw a few cabins. It was like a forest paradise a very mysterious place.

Above one of the cabins it said Made with Love. Beautiful structures made of logs were one of the things we encountered along our way. The end of the day was approaching. We started heading back to our parking lot to go home. We had a wonderful weekend.
