After a hiatus from the Hive platform for around 10 days, I'm excited to reconnect and share my recent adventure with all of you. Despite a setback due to a broken leg in 2023, I finally embarked on my long-awaited year-end tour, which took me to the sea.
Returning just yesterday, I'm eager to recount the highlights of our journey and catch up with all of my fellow Hive members. It's good to be back, and I can't wait to hear about all the happenings I missed during my absence. Did you miss me?
Let's dive into the tales of my sea-bound escapade together!
After patiently nursing a broken leg and yearning for the refreshing embrace of the outdoors, I finally found myself at the mesmerizing Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh – home to the largest sea beach in the world. Although my leg wasn't yet fully healed, the allure of the sea was too irresistible to ignore.
Cox's Bazar has been a familiar destination for us, but this visit holds a unique charm. Choosing to embark on this journey during the holy month of Ramadan, is typically considered less ideal for travel due to fasting. The beach, which is often bustling with tourists, offered a rare tranquility during this time.
Arriving last week, we immersed ourselves in the vastness of Cox's Bazar sea beach, letting the waves serenade our senses. The golden sand stretched as far as the eye could see, meeting the endless expanse of the Bay of Bengal. The rhythmic symphony of the waves provided a soothing soundtrack to our day.
As the sun began its descent, we reveled in the breathtaking sunset, casting hues of orange and pink across the horizon. The changing colors painted a picturesque canvas, marking the end of a perfect day at the beach. The culinary delights of the region became an integral part of our experience, with sea crab and sea fish taking center stage on our evening menu.
This morning, I was greeted by the ethereal beauty of a Cox's Bazar sunrise. The beach, bathed in the soft glow of dawn, offered a peaceful sanctuary for my mind. The tranquil morning atmosphere allowed for introspection and a sense of renewal – a much-needed break from the routine.
My Son's Captivating Encounter with the Ocean
We tried many seafood as well.
Cox's Bazar, beyond its physical beauty, exudes a unique charm that captivates the soul. The sea, with its ebb and flow, seems to carry away worries, leaving behind a sense of calm. The absence of crowds during Ramadan created an intimate connection with the surroundings, allowing for a more profound exploration of the beach's wonders.
In the coming days, I look forward to sharing more glimpses of this enchanting place. Each corner of Cox's Bazar has its own story, and I am eager to unravel more of its treasures.
As I continue to navigate the sandy shores and embrace the therapeutic whispers of the sea, I am reminded of the healing power that nature holds, making this journey to Cox's Bazar an unforgettable chapter in my quest for serenity.
