Travel to Pendopo Park // A historic site in the center of Bireuen city which is now a cultural heritage site

in #hive-16377220 hours ago

Good afternoon to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post, I will share some pictures that show my journey when visiting a historical place in the center of Bireuen city which is now a cultural heritage. Initially, I made this trip just to go to Bireuen city to buy some supplies there, but when I passed a place that I had never entered before, namely the Bireuen pendopo, I felt called to enter the place.

But before entering the place, I wanted to go around the city first because the weather today was not too cloudy and not too hot, making it very suitable for going around the city. While walking around, I also had time to go into several shops to buy some equipment and supplies that I needed at the moment. Well, after doing all these activities, I immediately turned around and headed straight to the historic place.

To enter this place we can enter through two gates, but one of the gates was closed so I decided to enter through the other gate.

As soon as I arrived at this place, I immediately turned off my motorbike in the parking lot provided there, and after parking my motorbike, I immediately asked permission from the officers who were on duty at the post, while explaining my intentions and purpose for entering this place.

After getting permission from the officer, I immediately walked to explore little by little from the place. For Bireuen residents, the name of this place may be familiar, but I am sure that many Bireuen residents do not understand the meaning of the name of the pendopo itself, including me, so before I explored this place, I first asked a little about this pendopo to the officer there.

This Pendopo was established on September 7, 1939, this place was originally a government office in the center of Bireuen city, and was once the office of the Regent of Bireuen, but now the center of government has been moved to another place so that this place has now officially changed into a cultural heritage site. That's a little explanation that I got from the officer there, although the information I got was little but it was enough to make me understand.

After hearing a little explanation from the officer there, I immediately walked to explore this place, choosing to explore the front part of this place first.

From some of the pictures that I managed to capture, it can be seen that the Pendopo yard is very spacious, and the buildings that used to be the central government building are clearly visible. The very spacious yard plus the presence of several very large trees make the area around this place feel very cool.

On weekdays, this place looks very quiet because this place will be very crowded with visitors when there are some events held here, such as art performances or events that highlight local culture and customs, so during my visit, I didn't see anyone there.

In addition, in front of the courtyard of this pendopo there is also a garden that is considered very beautiful because there are several plants and flowers, I continued to walk exploring this place little by little so as not to miss any of the beauty presented from this place. The more I walked forward, I finally arrived at a monument shaped like a flower petal that had bloomed.

I immediately captured the beauty of the monument from various sides so that I could show off the beauty of this monument without missing it. I myself do not know the history behind this flower monument and I also did not see any officers there so I could not ask about the monument.

And the monument also looks very big in size so that several people can climb it. I kept walking to continue exploring this place, even some of the gardens there really caught my attention so it would be a shame if I missed its beauty.

I kept walking until I didn't realize I had arrived in front of the building, a building that used to be the center of government in the city of Bireuen. And a little information about the building, now this building has become a place to store several historical and antique items, but I didn't dare ask permission to enter the building because there were indeed many valuable objects inside.

While I was busy exploring this place, suddenly I saw a small door that I didn't know which way it led to, so to answer all my curiosity I immediately entered the small door, but after entering the small door all I saw was a hut inside.

Since I didn't find anything beautiful there, I went out again. I thought I had explored the park far enough that I was happy and satisfied, so I immediately decided to leave the place.

But when I walked to where my motorbike was parked, I also decided to capture the beauty of the yard of this place.

Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope this post can provide entertainment for all my friends. All these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an infinix 10 pro cellphone and edited the picture using the Lightroom application

See you again in my next post♥️

It is nice to find new places without planning it, a routine visit ended up becoming an interesting walk, that's to know how to take advantage of the time haha.

It seems an optimal space to hold acts and public fairs or outdoor events, however your story about asking for authorization to the security officer, makes me think that it is not a public space at all?

You are absolutely right auntie, that place is often used for art performances or fairs.

There are several buildings in that place, and inside the building is also a place to store antiques and historical items which are certainly very valuable. And the main reason I asked for permission first was to respect the officers who were on duty there, and to convince the officers there about my intentions and purposes in entering this place. Reminding that this place will only be open to the public on Sundays or when there are events or visits.

Thank you very much for your support and kind comments, I really appreciate it, have a nice day auntie♥️♥️♥️
