We have a community place at Hub chowki where few annual events take place. It is a rocky place and do not have much inhabitants. We used to visit the place once in every two or three months to clean the area and get few other things fixed. There is not much movement around however, group of people live nearby in shacks or huts, area is not well developed.
On 12th June 2022, we planned to visit the place and one of our friend picked us from our homes to begin the journey for Hub chowki. We were five people in a car. It is almost 35 km away from our home, about one hour of drive.
It was a nice sunny day, reached there at around 16:00. While others get busy in cleaning and cutting the bushes, I with my cell phone took a walk around the place.
There is a crushing plant nearby due to which it was too dusty out there so I went little far away from that place.
I tried to take some nice shots of amazing nature, rocks & Hub River. In reality, it was looking awesome and the views were stunning. I spent a lot of time on those rocks, trying through different angles to take some best shots. I am not a professional photographer but trying is not bad.
We used to hear that this River which looks so calm and quiet now was not the same few decades ago. Its water level decreased a lot in past few decades. It used to touch the upper surface of our community place but now it’s no way near. This place is the border of two provinces Sindh & Balochistan. We are on the surface of Sindh whereas the other side of the river is Balochistan.
In the above picture, there is a big gate called Bab-e-Balochistan which is the entrance gate of Balochistan province. The hub river bridge connects the two provinces. In recent flood disaster, this bridge was badly damaged and collapsed.
I took some cloud pictures as I am a cloud lover, never miss those.
I don’t know what it is, since my childhood, I have seen these at different places but don’t know what it is called and for what purpose it is placed. One thing for sure I know about it that it is not suitable for eating. If anyone knows about it, do let me know in comments.
After so much of roaming around, like in less than two hours, we were all set to go back home now. I was too much busy in taking pictures, didn’t help my guys in cleaning up the community place. Will surely do my best in our next visit.
All above pictures are taken by me through my cell phone Moto E4.
