A walk around the center of Città Bassa in Bergamo

in #hive-1637728 months ago
Hello everyone!

Probably almost every tourist visiting Bergamo focuses on its historical part, i.e. the Upper Town (Città Alta). I also started my tour of Bergamo from there. On the last day of the trip to Italy, I also had the opportunity to walk around the center of the second part, i.e. the Lower city (Città Bassa). You can find a lot of interesting places and buildings here. Below are some examples presented in photos.

Witam wszystkich!

Można tutaj znaleźć sporo ciekawych miejsc i budynków. Poniżej kilka przykładów zaprezentowanych na zdjęciach.

The church of Santa Maria Immacolata delle Grazie on Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII was built in the second half of the 19th century. It is located less than 500 meters from the Railway Station.

Porta Nuova, two buildings from the first half of the 19th century. They are located at the intersection of Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII with Largo Porta Nuova, a few dozen meters from the church from the previous photos.
