On my way through the capital of Cuba, I decided to dedicate one of my days to walking the streets of Vedado, I was very curious because I have always heard that it is the shopping area of the Plaza de la Revolución municipality. My grandmother always tells me that this is one of the Moderna parts of Havana.
My brothers and sisters have always been my traveling companions, they don't let go of me, nor do I let go of them.
I wouldn't be able to tell you which street we started the tour, I just know that it's the parallel to the Cinema in that area. We were welcomed by a few imposing buildings, they have posters with many contrasts and so high that I could not capture them in all their splendor.
Let's continue our way on a street that went down to then meet the building where the Newscasts are broadcast every day, and that's where I fell that it was on 23rd and M. There is a program with the same name and it is recorded on that street. This was one of my goals in this area, to travel 23rd and M. Maybe I went with very high expectations, because the street did not manage to exceed them.
Impressive buildings do not stop appearing all over Vedado and I still classify them as Imposing, it's that the word and the editions themselves tell me A LOT, even the old buildings are shown like this. It is an area of a lot of tourism, and in my time in Havana it was the most expensive.
At the end of those streets you can already see the Boardwalk, and this is my main goal, I could see it far away and I already wanted to run to reach it.
Before arriving there is a sculptor who has like two faces, she has different designs in front and behind. It has cards with patriotic expressions giving it the historical touch like everything else in Cuba.
The street parallel to the Malecón is very wide, there is a lot of traffic and the views you have from there are incredible. On that wall you can breathe good air, the Sea breeze is magical, just by feeling it my happiness was palpable.
Even if we had wanted to stay longer, we still had a little more to continue touring. The next stop was at La Canagüita, this place is on the TV a lot. While there I noticed how many filters they put on it. It's not that the place is ugly, on the contrary, it has its own thing, what happens that is very far from what it transmits to what is there. The place has its charm, its beauty is not common and lends itself to good background.
During the tour the rain caught up with us, we had to camp in an ice cream parlor, and then conclude our tour at the University of Havana, unfortunately they did not let us in, instead, we could admire its beauty from the outside. They didn't let us get very close either, however, I could see how it has a representation where it says Alma mater very similar to the one at the University of the East.
The night on the street almost caught up with us, that day I fell down in surrender, my feet hurt and it was no wonder. We walked a lot, Vedado has its charm and I agree that it is a Moderna area of Havana. The experience was amazing

En mi paso por la capital de Cuba, decidí dedicar uno de mis días a recorrer las calles del Vedado, me daba mucha curiosidad porque siempre he oído que es la zona comercial del municipio Plaza de la Revolución. Mi abuela siempre me dice que esa es una de las partes modernas de La Habana.
Mis hermanos como siempre fueron mis compañeros de viaje, ellos no se me despegan de mi, ni yo de ellos.
No sabría decirles por qué calle comenzamos el recorrido, solo se que es la paralela al Cine de esa zona. Nos dieron la bienvenida unos cuantos edificios imponentes, tienen carteles con muchos contrastes y tan altos que no lograba capturarlos en todo su esplendor.
Continuemos nuestro camino en una calle que bajaba para luego encontrarnos con el edificio donde transmiten los Noticieros cada día, y ahí fue donde caí que estaba en 23 y M. Hay un programa con el mismo nombre y es grabado en esa calle. Este era uno de mis objetivos en esta zona, recorrer 23 y M. Quizás fui con las expectativas muy altas, porque la calle no logró superarlas.
Edificios impresionantes no dejan de aparecer por todo el Vedado y los sigo catalogando como Imponentes, es que la palabra y los ediciones en sí me dicen MUCHO, hasta los edificios antiguos se muestran así. Es una zona de mucho turismo, y en mi paso por la Habana fue la más cara.
Al final de aquellas calles ya se comienza a divisar el Malecón, y este si constituye mi objetivo principal, lo veía lejos y ya me daban ganas de correr para alcanzarlo.
Antes de llegar se observa una escultora que tiene como dos caras, tiene diseños diferentes delante y detrás. Tiene tarjas con expresiones patrióticas dándole el toque histórico como todo lo qué hay en Cuba.
La calle paralela al Malecón es muy ancha, hay mucho tránsito y las vistas que se tienen desde allí son increíbles. En aquel muro se respira buen aire, la brisa Del Mar es mágica, con solo sentirla mi felicidad era palpable.
Aunque hubiésemos querido quedarnos más rato, todavía nos faltaba un poco más por seguir recorriendo. La próxima parada fue en la Piragüita, este lugar aparece mucho en el televisor. Estando allí me di cuenta de cuántos filtros le ponen. No es que el lugar sea feo, al contrario, tiene lo suyo, lo qué pasa que dista mucho lo que trasmite a lo que se allí. El lugar tiene su encanto, su belleza no es común y se presta para buen fondo.
En el recorrido la lluvia nos alcanzó, tuvimos que escampar en una heladería, para luego concluir nuestro recorrido en la Universidad de La Habana, lamentablemente no nos dejaron entrar, en cambio, pudimos admirar su belleza desde fuera. No nos dejaron acercar mucho tampoco, empero, pude divisar como tiene una representación donde dice Alma mater muy parecida a la que hay en la Universidad de Oriente.
Casi nos alcanza la noche en la calle, ese día caí rendida, los pies me dolían y no fue para menos. Caminamos muchísimo, el Vedado tienen su encanto y concuerdo con que es una zona moderna de la Habana. La experiencia fue increíble
