Introduction
Hello again guys, how are you?
Welcome to the second part of the series of posts about my family trip to the state of Bahia! If you want to see how it all started and the first part, I left the links at the beginning of this post!
In this part, I will include some photos of what it was like to walk along the beach for the first time. After arriving at Ilhéus airport with a couple of friends (Nívia and Gustavo) and their children (Vitória and Ricardo), as well as a friend of theirs, an incredible and super nice person called Adriana, we rented 2 cars so we could go from the airport to the “Vila Flor” guesthouse, where we would stay most of the time.
We rented these cars for the 9 days, because in order to enjoy more freedom of coming and going and even thinking about the day of the return, a more comfortable drive was needed. My wife (who hadn't arrived yet) didn't like it very much, she said we could use Uber if necessary, but it turned out that the car really helped in some moments.
So let's go!
Ponta da Tulha Beach
Ahhh, the first time is always unforgettable and exciting and that was how it was for me, when I finally saw a beach and the sea. What a pleasant feeling, of tranquility, joy and peace, as the noise of the waves is something sensational, background music that calms us down and makes me feel like I'm in paradise.
Placing my feet in the sand brought me a feeling of calm that no other place could bring me, every step I took was one less problem in my life at that moment, with the pleasant feeling of sinking into that warm and cozy sand.
How not to love, how not to contemplate this vision?
Too sensational, I had finally achieved this, the dream of seeing the beach and the sea, how did it take me so long to get here? Enjoy this pleasant, calm and peaceful moment. In this first moment, I went for a walk with my daughter Sofia and our friends that I described in the introduction to this post and, with that, I took some photos:

At first, I found this kind of foam funny, I didn't imagine it was like that and, to be honest, I didn't even remember if the beach looked like that in films and series, but from what I was told, that's normal. I had a lot of fun going into the sea for the first time, enjoying every wave and really proving that the sea water is salty.
Yes, I tested and put some in my mouth, it is really salty! 🤣
Some people passed by on motorcycles, others on bicycles, at times some people passed by on quad bikes and, damn, how I dream of riding one of those. Although we looked around to see if anyone offered them for rent, unfortunately, in the 9 days we stayed at the inn, we didn't find anyone who actually rented the quads.

Regarding the landscape of the place, this green area at the beginning of the beach is kind of predominant, with a real forest and countless coconut trees. Of course, what draws attention is that they have coconut trees everywhere, but they have a story that links the name “Ponta da Tulha” with these coconut trees!
That same day, while walking along the beach, we were stopping and talking to people, residents, fishermen and one of these fishermen told us that in the past, this region was known for its whole market related to green coconut, so whether to sell the same or use the nut inside, all the discarded coconut was thrown into piles, which accumulated and reached great heights.

As a result, people who passed by from afar always saw one or more “Pontas da Tulha”, that is, the tip of this mountain where coconuts were discarded. This disposal is known in the region as “tulha”, which is why the name of the neighborhood became that. That's what the fisherman told us and I found it very interesting, a little about the local culture.
In the image on the left, there is my daughter Sofia and in the photo on the right, her friend Vitória. It was pure joy when entering the sea and this is where their fun began that day. In these images, we can also see the yellow wall behind, belonging to the Vila Flor guesthouse, which is where we stayed.
So, the inn's backyard was the beach! Sensational!

Of course there was no shortage of fun for them. In the images below, my daughter, Vitória and Ricardo are having fun running and playing on the beach. It's great to be a child, to enjoy every moment of joy like never before and even better to have friends for these moments!

Not only do they have fun! One thing that caught our attention was the number of dogs on the beach and they were all well looked after and healthy. I believe they must be from fishermen and residents of the region. Even though I only took a photo of one, there were moments when 2 or more dogs ran and played on the beach and entered the sea.
The cutest thing was when the waves came and they jumped over them correctly, showing all the animals' instinct and intelligence!

I couldn't miss some photos of my persona, so I took the opportunity to take some. I even used one of them to finally change my profile photo on Discord and Instagram haha.
It seems like the place does this to us, it makes us lighter, happier with ourselves. I have never felt so good and at peace of mind as on Ponta da Tulha beach.

And obviously I couldn't help but write HIVE in the sand! I could have done a little better, I confess, but I think the tribute is really cool! 😅
The river that cuts through the beach!
After a few minutes of walking, we arrived at a very curious place. There is a river that cuts through the beach, that is, it has its source, runs through and crosses the beach and ends in the sea. As the photos below show, on the left he was looking at his source and in the photo on the right, the path he takes until he reaches the sea:

Below, showing a little more what it looks like. The river water was much colder than the sea and has a darker color. I believe it may be due to the concentration of iron in the region, but I can't guarantee that, so I think this water is drinkable.

In the image below, we can more easily notice the color of the water and its direction towards the sea. I remember that when this water meets sea water, you can see a little of each, they are as if they were water and oil, but in this case, one color is the darker color and the other is the greener color.
This part is from the source. In this area there seem to be a lot of crabs, so some fishermen and even people try to catch one or the other, although they move very fast, which makes everything a big challenge. Of course, if you have patience and technique, you might be able to catch some.

How we got this one was a big surprise, but it happened:
I couldn't miss some photos with my foot in the river, delicious, super cold, it's a shame I didn't stay there for long. I would have liked to lie down and take some time to reflect on life. As it was in the low season, you could sit or lie down comfortably on it.

It doesn't really fit into this topic, but I loved these two photos I took of the kids. This part is after the river, going a little further forward, that's why I decided to put it here. In this region there are some boats that stay on the beach, so it is a part more aimed at fishermen.
My love has finally arrived!
To finish this part, my love finally arrived in Bahia and, with that, we went to look for her. First of all, she sent a photo of the plane she and my son Davi were on.
I didn't get to take photos at the airport or anything like that, but during the journey back to the inn, still in the city of Ilhéus, we stopped to take some really beautiful photos. There are few, but for me, they are impressive due to their beauty and the luck of having it in the late afternoon. These two I took from inside the car on the way back:

I asked Davi to do some poses and I don't think that's really his strong point, 🤣 even so, these photos were incredible, showing all the beauty of Ilhéus. So, until this moment, I passed through this city and the neighborhood of Ponta da Tulha. There will still be a few more places to show in other nearby cities.

And to close, I couldn't miss this beautiful photo with my wife, with the perfect and romantic backdrop of our love. Late afternoon in Ilhéus, everything was beautiful and perfect, it was a very strong emotion to see her arrive after everything that happened on the first day. ❤️
Introdução
Olá novamente pessoal, tudo bem com vocês?
Bem vindos à segunda parte da série de postagens sobre a minha viagem em família para o estado da Bahia! Caso queira ver como tudo começou e a primeira parte, deixei os links no começo dessa postagem!
Nessa parte, colocarei algumas fotos de como foi andar pela praia pela primeira vez. Após chegar no aeroporto de Ilhéus com o casal de amigos (Nívia e Gustavo) e seus filhos (Vitória e Ricardo), além de uma amiga deles, uma pessoa incrível e super gente boa chamada Adriana, alugamos 2 carros para podermos ir do aeroporto até a pousada “Vila Flor”, local onde ficaríamos a maioria do tempo.
Esses carros alugamos para os 9 dias, pois para poder desfrutar de mais liberdade de ir e vir e até mesmo já pensando no dia da volta, era preciso uma condução mais confortável. A minha esposa (que ainda não havia chegado) não gostou muito, disse que poderíamos ficar utilizando Uber caso fosse preciso, mas acabou que o carro ajudou mesmo em alguns momentos.
Então vamos lá!
Praia da Ponta da Tulha
Ahhh, a primeira vez é sempre inesquecível e emocionante e assim foi comigo, ao finalmente ver uma praia e o mar. Que sensação gostosa, de tranquilidade, alegria e paz, pois o barulho das ondas é algo sensacional, uma música de fundo que nos acalma e me fez sentir no paraíso.
Colocar os pés na areia me trouxe um sentimento de calmaria que nenhum outro lugar poderia me trazer, cada pisada que eu realizava era um problema a menos em minha vida naquele instante, com a sensação gostosa de afundar naquela areia quentinha e aconchegante.
Como não amar, como não contemplar essa visão?
Sensacional demais, eu havia finalmente realizado isso, o sonho de ver a praia e o mar, como demorei tanto para chegar aqui? Aproveitar esse momento gostoso, calmo e de tranquilidade. Neste primeiro momento, fiz uma caminhada com a minha filha Sofia e nossos amigos que descrevi na introdução dessa postagem e, com isso, tirei algumas fotos:

A princípio, achei engraçado essa espécie de espuma, não imaginei que era assim e, para falar a verdade, nem lembrava se nos filmes e séries da vida a praia se apresentava assim, mas pelo que me disseram, isso é normal. Me diverti muito entrando pela primeira vez no mar, aproveitando cada onda e comprovando realmente que a água do mar é salgada.
Sim, eu fiz o teste de colocar um pouco na boca, ela é realmente salgada! 🤣
Algumas pessoas passavam de motocicleta, outras de bicicleta, em alguns momentos passavam algumas pessoas em quadriciclos e, caramba, como sonho em andar em um desses. Apesar de procurarmos por ali se alguém disponibilizava para aluguel, infelizmente, nos 9 dias que ficamos na pousada, não encontramos ninguém que realmente alugasse os quadriciclos.

Sobre a paisagem do local, é meio que predominante essa área verde no começo da praia, com uma verdadeira mata mesmo e os incontáveis coqueiros. Com certeza, o que chama atenção é que têm coqueiros para tudo que é lado, mas têm uma história que relaciona o nome Ponta da Tulha com estes coqueiros!
Neste mesmo dia, ao caminhar pela praia, íamos parando e conversando com as pessoas, moradores, pescadores e um destes pescadores nos disse que antigamente, essa região era conhecida por todo o seu mercado relacionado com o coco verde, então seja para comercializar o mesmo ou utilizar de sua castanha de dentro, todo o coco descartado era jogado em pilhas, que iam se acumulando e chegavam em grandes alturas.

Com isso, as pessoas que passavam de longe viam sempre uma ou mais “pontas da tulha”, ou seja, a ponta dessa montanha de descarte dos cocos. Esse descarte é conhecido na região como “tulha”, por isso o nome do bairro se tornou esse. Foi isso que o pescador nos disse e achei isso bem interessante, um pouco sobre a cultura do local.
Na imagem da esquerda, está a minha filha Sofia e na foto da direita sua amiga Vitória. Foi alegria pura ao entrar no mar e aqui começou a diversão delas nesse dia. Nestas imagens, podemos ver também o muro amarelo ali atrás, sendo da pousada Vila Flor, que foi onde ficamos.
Sendo assim, o quintal da pousada era a praia! Sensacional!

Claro que diversão não faltou para eles. Nas imagens abaixo, minha filha, Vitória e Ricardo se divertem correndo e brincando pela praia. É ótimo ser criança, aproveitar cada momento de alegria como nunca e melhor ainda ter amigos para estes momentos!

Não somente eles se divertem! Uma coisa que chamou a atenção foi a quantidade de cachorros na praia e todos bem tratados e com saúde. Acredito que devem ser dos pescadores e moradores da região. Apesar de ter tirado foto apenas de um, teve momentos em que 2 ou mais cachorros corriam e brincavam na praia e entravam no mar.
O mais fofo era quando as ondas viam e eles pulavam elas certinho, mostrando todo o instinto e inteligência dos bichinhos!

Por fim, essas duas fotos com o pessoal que amei:

Não podiam faltar algumas fotos da minha persona, então aproveitei para tirar algumas. Até utilizei uma delas para finalmente trocar a foto do meu perfil no Discord e no Instagram haha.
Parece que o lugar faz isso conosco, nos deixa mais leves, mais felizes com nós mesmos. Nunca me senti tão bem e em paz de espírito como na praia de Ponta da Tulha.

E claro, não podiam faltar umas escritas na areia! ✏️
Primeiro, Y + C, sendo “Yan mais Cássia”, o nome da minha esposa e o amor da minha vida!
E obviamente não poderia deixar de escrever HIVE na areia! Poderia ter caprichado um pouco mais confesso, mas acredito que a homenagem está bem legal! 😅
O rio que corta a praia!
Depois de alguns minutos de caminhada, chegamos a um lugar bem curioso. Existe um rio que corta a praia, ou seja, ele tem a sua nascente, percorre e atravessa a praia e termina no mar. Como mostram as fotos abaixo, na esquerda estava olhando para a sua nascente e na foto da direita, o caminho que ele percorre até chegar no mar:

Abaixo, mostrando um pouco mais como ele é. A água do rio era bem mais gelada que a do mar e apresenta uma coloração mais escura. Acredito que talvez seja por conta da concentração de ferro na região, mas não tenho como garantir isso, portanto acho que essa água é potável.

Na imagem abaixo, podemos notar com mais facilidade a cor da água e a sua direção para o mar. Lembro que quando essa água se encontra com a água do mar, da para ver um pouco de cada uma, elas ficam como se fossem água e óleo, mas neste caso, uma cor a cor mais escura e a outra com a cor mais esverdeada.
Essa parte é da nascente. Nessa área parece que existem muitos caranguejos, então alguns pescadores e até mesmo pessoas tentam pegar um ou outro, apesar deles andarem bem rápido, o que torna tudo um grande desafio. Claro que, se você tiver paciência e técnica, pode ser que consiga pegar algum.

Como conseguimos com esse, foi uma grande surpresa, mas aconteceu:
Não podiam faltar umas fotos com o pé no rio, uma delícia, super gelado, pena que não fiquei muito tempo nele. Gostaria de ter deitado e aproveitado um pouco para refletir na vida. Como estava no período da baixa, dava para sentar ou deitar tranquilamente nele.

Não se encaixa muito nesse tópico, mas amei essas duas fotos que tirei das crianças. Essa parte fica depois do rio, seguindo um pouco mais para frente, por isso decidi colocar aqui. Nessa região existem alguns barcos que ficam na praia, então já é uma parte mais voltada para os pescadores.
Meu amor finalmente chegou!
Para finalizar essa parte, meu amor finalmente chegou à Bahia e, com isso, fomos buscá-la. Antes de tudo, ela mandou uma foto no avião em que ela e o meu filho Davi estavam.
Não cheguei a tirar fotos no aeroporto ou algo assim, mas durante o trajeto de volta para a pousada, ainda na cidade de Ilhéus, paramos para tirar algumas fotos bem bonitas. São poucas, mas para mim, impressionantes pela beleza e pela sorte de ter sido no horário do final da tarde. Essas duas tirei de dentro do carro na volta:

Eu pedi para o Davi fazer algumas poses e acho que não é bem o forte dele, 🤣 mesmo assim, ficaram incríveis essas fotos, mostrando toda a beleza de Ilhéus. Então, até este momento, passei por essa cidade e o bairro de Ponta da Tulha. Ainda terá mais alguns lugares para mostrar em outras cidades próximas.

E para fechar, não podia faltar essa foto linda junto da minha esposa, com o cenário perfeito e romântico do nosso amor. Fim de tarde em Ilhéus, tudo lindo e perfeito, foi uma emoção muito forte ver ela chegar depois de tudo o que aconteceu no primeiro dia. ❤️
