Friends of #worldmappin, I am passing through your community again to show you a place that captivated me, which is called El Yaque. This beautiful place is located in the Diaz Municipality, in the state of Nueva Esparta, south of Margarita Island.
Amigos de #worldmappin, estoy de paso nuevamente por su comunidad para mostrarles un lugar que me cautivó, que tiene por nombre El Yaque. Este hermoso lugar se encuentra ubicado en el Municipio Díaz, en el estado Nueva Esparta, al sur de Isla Margarita.
I visited this place before the pandemic and today I can tell you that it has nothing to do with what it was before.
I started my trip to El Yaque along Mario Oliveros Avenue. I know that is its name because we gave the tail to a military man who was on the road and told us so. On the way, the scenery was beautiful. As my husband was driving, I did not miss a single opportunity to leave this beauty immortalized in photographs.
Visité este lugar antes de la pandemia y hoy les digo que nada que ver con lo que era antes.
Comencé mi recorrido hacia El Yaque por la avenida Mario Oliveros. Sé que ese es su nombre porque le dimos la cola a un militar que estaba en la vía y nos lo dijo. En el camino, los paisajes eran hermosos. Como mi esposo iba manejando, no perdí una sola oportunidad de dejar esta belleza inmortalizada en las fotografías.
It is difficult to explain the beauty of the landscape that can be seen on both sides of the road. Sometimes the terrain is rocky and in other parts you can see in the distance the mountains that I love so much.
Se me hace difícil explicar la belleza del paisaje que se puede apreciar a ambos lados de la vía. En ocasiones, los terrenos son rocosos y en otras partes se divisan a lo lejos las montañas que tanto me gustan.
Upon arriving at El Yaque, I was greeted by a huge sign that read “Yo ❤️ El Yaque”.
Al llegar a El Yaque, me recibió un enorme cartel que decía “Yo ❤️ El Yaque”.
As I walked the streets, I loved the cleanliness and the pride the locals take in their place.
Al recorrer sus calles, adoré la limpieza y el orgullo que sienten los lugareños por su lugar.
Before entering the beach area, there was the heavily protected El Yaque wastewater treatment plant.
Antes de entrar a la zona de la playa, se encontraba la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales de El Yaque, que estaba muy protegida.
Finally, I reached the beach area, which I admired from afar. Although the sky was a bit cloudy, the sea looked radiant. I could not get very close because I am not very well on one foot and it is difficult for me to walk on the sand. I didn't come prepared either because, to tell you the truth, I only had to come to the Surf Paradise hotel to deliver a document. I offered to enjoy this beautiful place that I had already been told was very changed, and it is the truth.
Finalmente, llegué a la zona de la playa, que admiré desde lejos. A pesar de que el cielo estaba un poco nublado, el mar se veía radiante. No me pude acercar mucho porque no me encuentro muy bien de un pie y se me dificulta caminar por la arena. No vine tampoco preparada porque, diciéndoles la verdad, solo tenía que venir al hotel Surf Paradise a entregar un documento. Me ofrecí para disfrutar de este hermoso lugar que ya me habían comentado que estaba muy cambiado, y es la verdad.
Very close to the beach there are large houses for rent with excellent views. There are also several restaurants that offer delicious seafood cocktails.
Muy cerca de la playa hay grandes casas que se alquilan y tienen excelentes vistas. También hay diversos restaurantes que ofrecen deliciosos cócteles de mariscos.
At the end of the street, a number of hotels, hostels and inns began to appear, side by side, each with a different dynamic.
Al final de la calle, comenzaron a aparecer una cantidad de hoteles, hostales y posadas, uno al lado del otro, y cada uno con una dinámica diferente.
I delivered the package right away, as they were waiting for me at the door, and continued appreciating the beauty of the different facilities, many of which ended at the sea. It is charming and many tourists are saying that this place is charming because it is remote, quiet and very close to the sea. Even I would consider it for a vacation.
Entregué la encomienda enseguida, pues me estaban esperando en la puerta, y continué apreciando la belleza de las diferentes instalaciones, muchas de las cuales terminaban en el mar. Es encantador y muchos turistas están refiriendo que este lugar está encantador por lo alejado, tranquilo y muy pegado al mar. Hasta yo lo pensaría para disfrutar de unas vacaciones.
I was able to see some houses and the truth is that you have to invest a lot of money for maintenance because in this area, where the sea is almost in the yard of a house, the saltpeter must deteriorate everything quickly. I love the sea and nature, but I prefer to live a few blocks away from the sea because of the aggressive saltpeter.
Pude apreciar algunas casas de vivienda y la verdad es que hay que invertir mucho dinero para el mantenimiento porque en esta zona, donde el mar está casi en el patio de una casa, el salitre debe deteriorar todo rápidamente. Yo amo el mar y la naturaleza, pero prefiero vivir a unas cuadras distantes del mar por lo agresivo del salitre.
