There are many airports in Beijing, and most of them are now closed or used for military training or other purposes like testing new aircraft. Currently, three airports are operating officially, and all of them are international airports according to their title. They are the Daxing International Airport which is one of the world's largest and top airports that Beijing introduced recently; the Peking International Airport, which has the maximum number of International flights; and the Miyun International Airport, which is not operational according to my search for flights, both domestic and International. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I have seen some flights landed there for proper monitoring and management purposes at that time in my observation. Previously, I have used the Daxing International Airport, which has most of the domestic flights connected with Beijing and other cities in China, as I used those flights that had a transfer in Kunming or Guangzhou City of China, for going back to my country Dhaka.
The Peking International Airport is the closest airport to Beijing Downtown. It is a hub for Air China, and the hub for China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines is in the Daxingn International Airport. This airport manages Most International departures, while Daxing has more local departures. I had booked my tickets with Air China last month for my visit to Bangladesh. So, I had the chance to explore this beautiful airport. This airport is much closer to my living place also than the Daxing International Airport. Peking One is around 40 km from my Institute, and I can use a taxi as the fair is convenient. But for the Daxing International Airport, the distance is around 140 km, and the taxi fare cross 400 RMB, which is quite expensive for me. So, Peking International Airport is much more flexible to use for me.

The Peking International Airport is an old Airport located in the Shunyi District of the Beijing Municipal. This airport is comparatively smaller than the Daxing International Airport but still is is big enough to enjoy your transfer here. It has many beautiful resting spots, as shown in the figure above, to make your journey a better one. Often, we have long hours of transit, and such a beautiful airport can make it more relaxing.
Though it is a beautiful one but I have a complaint about it and I want to share about it. The prices of the food here in the airport restaurants are higher compared to the restaurants in the Daxing International Airport. I don't know if this is more expensive. Maybe more foreigners enter China through this airport rather than the Daxing International Airport, which can be the reason behind the high price of the food in the restaurants here. I have tried KFC here and the price was almost double than the Daxing International airport which is not a good thing here at all.

The overall experience was a good one in the airport as everything was smooth and convenient, though there are lackings in some technological advancement compared to the Daxing International Airport as it is quite old. But it was as flexible as all other airports in China and enjoyable with all the facilities.
I have no complaints about the cleanliness of the surroundings, restrooms, or all the spots in the waiting area. All other related services were okay for me, though I have never tried the duty-free shops in the airports as they are often more expensive. Most of the time, I found alcohol, which is not allowed for Muslims like me. And for the fashions and Cosmetics, these are really from the expensive brands that I don't prefer but tried some snacks from some shops which are convenient according to my experiences.
I hope you like my photos of the beautiful Peking international Airport that I have taken during my last visit to Bangladesh. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a great weekend!
