Well Hello There Adventure Seekers!
The Adventures Never End!
Now this was something not planned for in the bunch but since I've always wanted to check out what lies on the beach below I thought this was the perfect opportunity to get a glimpse at what lies beyond! BUT we are not exactly here for what lies beyond we are here for the mural being created in a tunnel just below golf estate at Pinaccle Point!
Now to say it plain and simple this is where the rich folk all collaborate but we wont let that put us off! Not even all the eyes we feel are staring at us which in actuality doesn't xD!
Let's dive right in!
At-least they have this little walk way sectioning everything off! OH and to top it off this is completely free! Only cost us a little time and effort and maybe the drive to the place!
The amount of effort put into this place is incredible and all of it is done with donations and by a couple of people who actually sets up the murals. The nice thing about this is that each artist can add his own little signature to the art work! (Yeah this plant has nothing to do about that I know!)
South Africa!
Starting off with where we are! South Africa!
Now as far as I can read this mural it's more or less the history of our beautifull earth and the history of our country all mashed up together creating a massive art piece! It's actually quite long, about fifty meters if I had to guess!
What gets me the most about this entire thing is the way they made it flow into one another seamlessly! That is an art on its own!
Which Represents Our Country!
Now for any out there that knows anything about South Africa it would likely be something aimed towards our Rugby team The Springboks ey! Now the Springbok is our national animal... (At-least I think that is what they would call it) The bird which is the "Blue Crane." The national fish is called a "Galjoen" not much to be said there and then the National flower is a "Protea"!
Now my all time favourites out of the bunch would be the Springbok and the Protea!
My Favourite Piece!
Well it's this one and another one, now I'm not exactly sure where this squid fits into the history part of our country but maybe it doesn't!
What I do know for a fact is that this one really blew my mind away! The way its tentacles are stretching our over the roof! Absolutely ingenius!
It's frikkin well done isn't it?
The Level Of Detail.
Apologies for all the glue and pebbles standing around, as I said they are still busy with this tunnel and have been for the past 2 years. I am uncertain if they have the entire tunnel planned out in full yet or does it still need to be picked up by authors.
The idea itself is absolutely brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
The best is yet to come! Let's quickly run through the rest of the photos and have that sweet ending that I didn't expect at all!
The View We Received!
I'll break it to you, I did not expect to see this when exiting the mural tunnel! This was absolutely breathtaking! This is where I want a house! Right there smacked down! Not even something fancy! A small wood cabin would do just fine! JUST FINE!
Heck!
All words left me, seeing this photo now well it's not justified in anyway, remembering back now I can feel the wind gushing through my hair, the roar of the waves crashing against the rocks! Beyond fantastic!
We didn't go down the footpath since my Old Man was with me, it would have been a terrifying climb for him! Dang I don't want to grow old one day! Anyways! The next time we head down me and The Betty might head down to the seaside below and see how it's looking down there.
Living for views as amazing as these! It's something else in the moment! Like going on a mountain hike and then reaching the top savouring in that momentous moment of having conquered the mountain! Amazing stuff!
