Phuket Island on the Andaman Sea is a ocean of pristine beaches and every time I have some free time from work I make, it a mission to go and explore another of the hundreds of beaches around this island it's something that I enjoy doing I was born with Vitamin Sea in me and can never get enough, it's like a addiction for me finding and swimming at a new beach satisfies my addiction of Vitamin Sea as @dswigle said herself 😊

Today was that free day start of a long weekend for me, I was up early this morning ready to go and find myself a new beach that I hadn't been to on this island, I walked to my friend's motorbike hire shop down the road from my place walked in and he doesn't even ask me for any ID as he knows me as a friend and a regular customer I just sign the papers and he fills them out for me and always gives me the best motorbike in the shop for $4.50 US (150 Baht) for the full day hire charge can't complain about that great service.
I decided to head south over the Patong hill away from the city area of Patong beach it was early morning the day was brilliant a nice blue sky and sunny hardly anyone on the roads jumped on the motorbike and headed towards the town of Kata Noi that was my plan the town is about 25km from Patong town where I am staying. I had been told that Kata Noi Town, is a very clean town riding through this town I could certainly see that it looked very clean and colorful, it's not a big town compared to other towns on this island but it had everything you needed and this town had quite a charm about it.

Riding out of town just at the end of the shop line this beautiful sparkling beach sprung out at me it was so quite I could hear the waves crashing on the shoreline I just had to park my motorbike and go and throw myself into that clear crystal blue water.

This was perfect there were only a handful of people on this beach already relaxing and soaking up the vitamin sea and what I loved about this beach, it was situated at a dead end road so no sound of traffic to annoy you like most other main beaches in towns and it was surrounded by lush green mountains the sand was so soft with a calm sea a perfect beach to throw your towel out and have a nap under a sun umbrella with no beach vendors to disturb you.
After soaking myself in that cool crystal clear water splashing around like a excited little kid like i had never seen a beach before I had worked up a appetite I had noticed previously looking up from the beach on the south side I could see a couple of shops hanging on the mountain side and to my experience here on the island I would guess I will be able to get a nice late lunch up there, so I jumped on my motorbike and rode up the hill, I figured this would be a great view while having my late afternoon lunch and a couple of beers.

I was right here it was a lovely little cafe/restaurant shop with great food and breathtaking views looking down at Kata Noi Beach, I ordered myself a beer and a spicy dish of seafood salad with squid and octopus and an couple more beers after that was a bit over spiced but it was very fresh and tasty, I sat up here enjoying the views and waited till the sunset starting happening then I finally decided to pay the bill which was $15 US (500 Baht) for the meal and 3 beers and headed back down to the beach to get a couple of sunset photos before heading back home.

Kata Noi is a very nice beach suited for families who like the quieter part of Phuket Island, it does have some activities on the beach like banana boats, parasailing and jet skiing and at the southern end of the beach around the rocks there is some excellent snorkeling to be had you will see many tropical colorful fish and coral reefs, the great thing about this beach is it's not over crowded like most other beaches and that's another beach crossed of my bucket-list 😊
