Still related to the previous post about MAju beach, after going there, my friend suggested to stop by another place that is no less viral than Maju beach. This second place is only about 10 minutes away by using the transport that has been provided free of charge specifically to get around this area.

LA RIVIERA

At first glance, when looking at my photo, do you feel a sense of de Javu? As if you've seen similar places either on television, postcards, or on someone's social media timeline? La Riviera is a complex of houses and shops designed to be as similar as possible to the riverside towns of Amsterdam.

At first, I wasn't sure about that. I only knew that it was designed that way, but when my friend told me that it was modelled after Amsterdam I just agreed. It doesn't look like it to me either, but perhaps it does manage to give the impression of small towns along the Amstel river.

There is no charge or ticket to enter this area. Visitors are free to wander around and take photos. There are many good spots indeed, but this place looks even better at night. Because there are lights and buildings that are reflected in the river in the centre.

When I just arrived, there weren't many people there yet, so I posed for a few takes for keepsakes. Originally, it was very hot here, so I didn't wander around for too long. I liked the spot taken from the centre of white bridge the best. The landscape behind me looked like a painting. It was pretty, but not something I could enjoy. I don't know why the impression of tourist spots that imitate a certain model is less appealing to me.

It's just a matter of taste. Evidently, as the afternoon wore on, the place became more and more crowded. Since my stomach was getting hungry, I decided to go to the Lawson at the corner of the area. I ordered a drink, ramen and spicy fish cake. I sat by the large window that looked out onto the bridge. People were starting to crowd around the place where I took my picture earlier. I enjoyed my meal comfortably while watching a middle-aged couple posing romanticaly.

Hm... this place does seem to be more suitable for visitors in pairs. I thought I didn't click with this place, turns out I was just lonely in the crowd. LOL

Okay, thank you for reading my writing this time. I hope you'll look forward to my next piece.
