Us3inCanada Summer Vacation - Day 3.2 - Grouse Mountain
Our summer vacation, day 3, continuing with more adventures, and after conquering the Capilano suspension bridge, we headed to the majestic Grouse Mountain, which is located in North Vancouver.
To reach the summit, we boarded the gondola on an exciting journey and we were super excited about what we were going to see from up there.
Grouse Mountain has a multitude of attractions for thrill seekers and nature lovers.
The first stop was the Lumberjack Show, a show where lumberjacks compete in various challenges and left us amazed with their skills.
Nossas férias de verão, dia 3, continuando com mais aventuras e depois de conquistar a ponte suspensa Capilano, seguimos para a majestosa Grouse Mountain, que fica localizado em North Vancouver.
Para chegar ao cume, subimos a bordo da gondola em uma viagem emocionante e estavamos super empolgados com o que iríamos ver lá de cima.
Grouse Mountain tem uma infinidade de atrações para quem gosta de emoções e para quem gosta da natureza.
A primeira parada foi no Lumberjack Show, um espetáculo onde lenhadores competem em vários desafios e nos deixou maravilhados com suas habilidades.
We then meet two orphaned brown bears who have the mountain as their home. Watching these bears from a safe distance was an incredible experience, reminding us of the importance of wildlife conservation around the world.
Em seguida encontramos dois ursos pardos órfãos que tem a montanha como lar. Observar estes ursos a uma distância segura foi uma experiência incrível, nos lembrando da importância da conservação da vida selvagem em todo o mundo.
But the real adventure began when we climbed aboard the gondola, rising higher into the clouds and the panoramic views of the city that spread out below us were simply breathtaking.
As we climbed, the world around us took on another shape, it was as if time had stopped and we were suspended between the earth and the sky.
Several wooden sculptures spread across the mountain are a reminder of the rich heritage of this place where each sculpture told a story of this region of the mountain.
Mas a verdadeira aventura começou quando subimos a bordo da gondola, subindo mais alto nas nuvens e as vistas panorâmicas da cidade que se espalhavam abaixo de nós eram simplesmente de tirar o fôlego.
À medida que subíamos o mundo ao nosso redor tomava outra forma, foi como se o tempo tivesse parado e estivéssemos suspensos entre a terra e o céu.
Diversas esculturas de madeira espalhadas pela serra são um lembrete do rico património deste local onde cada escultura contava uma história dessa região da montanha.
To recharge our energy, we went to try a delicious Beaver Tail, which is a delicious sugary snack.
É para recarregar as energias, fomos experimentar um delicioso Beaver Tail que é um snack açucarado que é delicioso.
On the hike up there, we came across a group of deer eating amidst the grandeur of the mountain.
Na caminhada lá em cima, nos deparamos com um grupo de cervos comendo em meio à grandiosidade da montanha.
Our day at Grouse Mountain ended with another adventure, this time zip lining.
The trip back in the gondola gave us one last look at this stunning view that certainly created unforgettable memories.
Nosso dia em Grouse Mountain terminou com outra aventura, dessa vez de tirolesa.
A viagem de volta na gôndola nos deu um último visual dessa vista deslumbrante que com certeza criou memórias inesquecíveis.
