I have been visiting Alton Towers Theme Park since I was eleven years old.
The first time was with my family.. Next, it was on a School Trip.. Then as I got older I would try and visit at least once a year with friends.
This time, at the ripe old age of 36, I once again got the chance to go. But, on this occasion it was a two day visit with @jacky.mooney.
We both love theme park rides, and Alton Towers certainly does not disappoint in the 'Thrill Factor'. We were fortunate enough to visit on two relatively quiet days for the park and so were able to enjoy all of the rides with minimal or no queueing at all.
Some of the rides are beginning to look a bit dated and in need of a refurbishment, such as the Nemesis ride (my personal favourite at this Park) which was first opened back in 1998.
The food is also an element that could do with an upgrade as there were literally zero healthy options available. This was rectified by taking our own lunch on day two.
All that being said, the Park is still immense fun and its Countryside placement with Rides surrounding a beautiful big garden, means that there is something for visitors of all ages to envelop themselves with.
I have mentioned in previous posts that @jacky.mooney and I are intending to spend 6 months travelling Central and South America, Blogging and Vlogging the experience as we go along.
Well, The trip to Alton Towers was our first real opportunity to break the Camera out and begin practicing for our travel videos.

And if you are feeling particularly supportive.. A like and a subscribe would go a long way in supporting us as we get set up 😁
A recent survey I took with myself concluded that my favourite ride of all time is the Superman Ride at Movie World in Queensland Australia.
What's your favourite Theme Park or Theme Park Ride? Do you prefer Spins, or Loops, or Drops? Let's discuss in the comments 😊
