After the relaxed day and the night with a super beautiful starry sky we are thus once again driven on. We have committed ourselves to it, we want to see the gorges and canyons that this wonderful country has to offer. So off we go... :D
Nach dem entspannten Tag und der Nacht mit einem super schönen Sternenhimmel sind wir also mal wieder weitergefahren. Wir haben uns darauf festgelegt, wir wollen die Schluchten und Canyons sehen die dieses wunderbare Land zu bieten hat. Also los... :D
Well what can I say...the plan has changed during the trip, because we have seen so wonderful lakes at which we wanted to stop. And so we decided to spend a night at one of them. Bright blue water, lots of leisure activities with the usual kite-surfing, paddling and boating. But we were fascinated by how many islands are in this lake. You can understand exactly what that was once for a landscape...Namely just as mountainous as the rest of the environment. <3
Naja was soll ich sagen...der Plan hat sich während der Fahrt noch geändert, weil wir so wunderbare Seen gesehen haben bei denen wir unbedingt halten wollten. Und so haben wir uns entschieden eine Nacht an einem dieser zu verbringen. Strahlend blaues Wasser viel Freizeitangebot mit dem üblichen Kite-sufen, paddeln und Boot fahren. Aber uns hat vorallem fasziniert, wie viele Inseln in diesem See sind. Man kann genau nachvollziehen was das mal für eine Landschaft war...Nämlich genau so bergig wie der Rest der Umgebung. <3
We took our time, went swimming a lot, listened to music and explored the city. It was the Lac de Castillion, near the town of Saint-Julien-du-Verdon. The lake consists roughly of 2 parts divided by a narrow. On the way down to the canyons, you drive along it for quite a while, making it impossible for us not to choose one of the places directly on the lake. When you drive along it for almost 2 hours, there's no way you can avoid jumping in and falling in love with it :D
Wir haben uns Zeit genommen, waren viel schwimmen, haben Musik gehört und die Stadt erkundet. Es war der Lac de Castillion, nahe der Stadt Saint-Julien-du-Verdon. Der See besteht grob gesagt, aus 2 Teilen die durch eine enge geteilt werden. Auf dem Weg runter zu den Canyons fährt man eine ganze Weile daran entlang, wodurch es uns unmöglich war uns nicht für einen der Orte direkt am See zu entscheiden. Wenn man beinahe 2 Stunden daran entlang fährt führt kein Weg dran vorbei mal reinzuspringen und sich direkt zu verlieben :D
So after a while we turned around again, because we had found the perfect place for a post-camp and stayed right there. The rest of the day was characterized by chilling and eating, with which I do not want to bore you. If you are ever there in the area necessarily stop and enjoy. It's worth it <3
But achtung there are "wild" goats (they ran away, of course) that just run across the road and by the fact that it is quite curvy in this area, prefer to slow down a little... :D we have of course stopped and let them pass the road xD
Wir haben also nach einer Weile nochmal umgedreht, weil wir den perfekten Platz für ein Nachlager gefunden hatten und sind direkt dort geblieben. Der restliche Tag war von chillen und Essen geprägt, mit dem ich euch nicht langweilen möchte. Falls ihr abeer mal dort in der Gegend seid unbedingt anhalten und genießen. Es lohnt sich <3
Aber achtung es gibt "wilde" Ziegen (sie sind natürlich ausgebüchst), die einfach über die Straße laufen und dadurch, dass es ziemlich kurvig in dieser Gegend ist, lieber etwas langsamer machen... :D wir haben natürlich angehalten und sie die Straße passieren lassen xD
