What better than camping one day on the beach to have the opportunity to see the beautiful sunset as night falls and in the morning to see the sunrise, walking along the seashore, with family or friends, I suppose the dream of many. This trip was being planned for days, to go out more than anything with friends, since the only family member I was going with is my brother, who drove to our destination.
Que mejor que acampar un día en la playa para tener la oportunidad de ver el hermoso atardecer mientras cae la noche y por la mañana ver el amanecer, caminando por la orilla del mar, en familia o con amigos, supongo que el sueño de muchos. Ya desde hace días se estaba planeando este viaje, para salir más que todo con amigos, ya que el único familiar que con quien iba es mi hermano, quien manejo hasta nuestro destino.
Since days before the trip the departure time was supposed to be at 2:00 p.m. to arrive in the afternoon, before night fell, but due to some inconveniences in the end we ended up leaving at approximately 4:00 p.m. from Valencia, Carabobo State to Cuyagua Beach in Aragua State.
Desde días antes del viaje la hora de partida se suponía que era a las 14:00 para llegar por la tarde, antes que cayera la noche, pero por algunos inconvenientes al final terminamos saliendo a las 16:00 aproximadamente desde Valencia, Estado Carabobo hasta la Playa de Cuyagua en el Estado Aragua.

From the time we left Valencia until we reached Aragua State, everything on the road was going well, until we reached the town of Ocumare, since night had already fallen, there was a bit of rain and the road seemed to get thicker every time. steeper and with some hairpin turns.
Desde que salimos de Valencia hasta que llegamos al Estado Aragua, todo en el camino iba bien, hasta que llegamos al Pueblo de Ocumare, ya que, ya había caído la noche, había un poco de lluvia y el camino parecía que cada vez se hacía más empinado y con algunas curvas muy cerradas.

The time we left was not the best, taking into account the time it would take us on the road, which was approximately 3 or 4 hours, because once we started to climb the mountain we had to walk slowly to avoid any rain accident.
La hora en la que salimos no era la mejor, tomando en cuenta el tiempo que nos íbamos a tardar en el camino, que eran aproximadamente 3 o 4 horas, debido a que una vez empezáramos a subir la montaña teníamos que andar lento para evitar cualquier accidente por la lluvia.
On the way up to the Henri Pittier Park we were delayed for about half an hour, due to a tree that blocked the way fell halfway, but many people got out of their cars in the rain to cut down the tree with axes and machetes to clear the way.

Due to the time we arrived, which was more or less around 9:00 p.m., the first thing we did was look for a place to park the car, to later look for the place where we were going to put the tents to sleep. The funny thing at that moment was that when my brother was moving the car looking for somewhere to park, it got stuck in the sand and we had to ask for help to get it out.
Debido a la hora que llegamos, que fue más o menos como a las 21:00 de la noche, lo primero que hicimos fue buscar un sitio en donde estacionar el carro, para posteriormente buscar el sitio en donde íbamos a poner las carpas para dormir. Lo gracioso en ese momento fue que, cuando mi hermano estaba moviendo el carro buscando algún sitio para estacionar, se quedó pegado en la arena y tuvimos que pedir ayuda para sacarlo.
After all that we set up the grill to make some skewers, since we arrived very hungry and on the way we only ate one or the other sweet. The truth was that it was very difficult for us to light the grill, since there was a lot of wind and we did not have any type of fuel to light it.
Después de todo eso montamos la parrilla para hacer unos pinchos, ya que llegamos con mucha hambre y en el camino solo nos comimos uno que otro dulce. La verdad nos costó mucho encender la parrilla, puesto que había mucho viento y no teníamos ningún tipo de combustible para encenderlo.

Now, for me one of the most exciting and beautiful part of the trip, was having the opportunity to see the wonderful sunrise. I was the first to get up, I opened my tent and saw that the sun was barely rising, since I didn't want to get too far from my brother, I just sat on the edge of the tent and watched how the sun rose little by little.
Ahora, para mí una de la parte más emocionante y hermosa del viaje, fue tener la oportunidad de ver el maravilloso amanecer. Fui el primero en levantarme, abrí mi carpa y vi que el sol apenas estaba saliendo, como no quería alejarme mucho de mi hermano, solo me senté en el borde la carpa y ver como poco a poco salía el sol.
When I got up, I saw that in the sea, in the furthest distance, a ship was passing by and while I watched the sunrise, I also kept watching the ship until it hid behind the mountain. I couldn't take pictures at first, due to the fact that my phone was dead, but later when my brother's wife woke up and I was able to take pictures with her phone.

Once everyone woke up and after talking for a while about the trip, we proceeded to turn on the grill to make skewers again, this time it was easier to turn it on, since one of the people who takes care of the beach looking for the garbage that it can be recycled like plastic, glass, cans, etc... he helped us and advised us that it is easier to light with vegetable oil (which if we had known before, it would have made it easier for us to light the grill the night before).
Una vez que todos se despertaron y después de hablar un rato sobre el viaje, procedimos en volver a encender la parrilla para hacer de nuevo pinchos, esta vez fue más fácil encenderlo, ya que una de las personas que cuida la playa que busca la basura que se puede reciclar como plástico, vidrio, latas, etc... nos ayudó y nos aconsejó que es más fácil encenderlo con aceite vegetal (que si lo fuéramos sabido antes, nos hubiera facilitado encender la parrilla la noche anterior).

No sé en qué momento paso, pero yo terminé cocinando todos los pinchos, fue muy poca la ayuda. Al fin y al cabo, no me quejo, la verdad lo disfruté.

As time went by, we decided to walk for a while along the shore of the beach, until we reached the Cuyagua River, where we bathed for a while, since it was not deep at all, I am a small person, the water it reached my knee. Quietly, he could cross the River on foot.
A medida que fue pasando el tiempo, decidimos caminar un rato por la orilla de la playa, hasta llegar al Río de Cuyagua, en donde nos bañamos un rato, ya que no era para nada hondo, yo que soy una persona pequeña, el agua me llegaba a la rodilla. Tranquilamente, podía cruzar el Río caminando.
Whenever I go to the beach, that is what I like to do the most, walking along the seashore while I see people and children playing, bathing on the beach, and seeing the food stalls.
Siempre que voy a la playa, eso es lo que más me gusta hacer, caminar por la orilla del mar mientras veo a las personas y niños jugar, bañándose en la playa, y ver los puestos de comida.

After spending a great day at Cuyagua Beach, we headed home, but we couldn't finish leaving without making a short stop at the viewpoint that was located in a part of the mountain. It was something quick, since we left late again, but the memory that we have will remain forever.
Después de pasar un gran día en la Playa de Cuyagua, agarramos camino a casa, pero no nos podíamos de terminar de ir sin hacer una pequeña parada en el mirador que estaba situado en una parte de la montaña. Fue algo rápido, ya que nuevamente salimos tarde, pero el recuerdo que nos quedó, se quedará para siempre.
In my opinion, the most beautiful thing about the view of the horizon is that the sea is practically indistinguishable from the sky, it is something spectacular. You only see an infinity that you don't know where it will take you.
En mi opinión, lo más hermoso de la vista al horizonte, es que prácticamente no se distingue el mar con el cielo, es algo espectacular. Solamente se ve un infinito que no sabes a donde te llevará.
The truth is that I really liked the trip, spending it with friends and my brother, who both had the great dream of camping on a beach. There are few things I didn't like about the site, but otherwise, enjoy every second.
La verdad me gusto mucho el viaje, pasarla con amigos y mi hermano, que los 2 teníamos el gran sueño de acampar en una playa. Son pocas las cosas que no me gustaron del sitio, pero de resto, disfrute cada segundo.
Previously on 2 occasions I had camped, but on the bank of a river in Cinaruco, Apure State. But the part where I stayed was more like a field and I had no view to admire the sunrise. So this experience in Cuyagua Beach is unique.
Anteriormente en 2 ocasiones yo si había acampado, pero en la orilla de un río en Cinaruco, Estado Apure. Pero en la parte donde me quede era más como un campo y no tenía vista para admirar el amanecer. Así que esta experiencia en la Playa de Cuyagua es única.
