When I was very young, some people do say am very funny especially with the way I behave and talk sometimes that I really might not notice that what I did or say is funny except people start laughing. This got to the stage that when I was in my secondary school days, my classmates will just see me and start laughing without me saying or do anything.
If am angry they will laugh and if am sad they will also laugh that I even became confused with how I will behave to make them to start laughing at me. Sometimes I will look at myself in the mirror at home if there is something I don't know that normally make this people laugh. It got to the extent that I measured my head, mouth and ear to confirm if they were bigger.
I asked my parents if my look was funny they said no and I also asked them if there was any part of my body that was abnormal they also said no then I just decide to overlook the unexpected laugh that comes from this people. After my secondary days someone advised me to go for stand up comedy that I would make people laugh.
At first I pretended not to hear the person and then I decided to give it a try to confirm if throughly people would laugh if they see me lol. There was nobody I could tell to take me there so I just ignored until I got to the university. When I got to the university, in my first year there was a comedy competition where we were going to face crowd that was full with students and this however was my first time I would face such crowd.
I was the third person to perform and when I was introduced, the whole place was calm lol, I was expecting the students in the crowd to laugh seeing me alone but that did not happen and even when I did my face with a funny look they still didn't laugh instead they started shouting I should get out of the stage that I wasn't funny that comedy is not my lane lol.
Even when I tried to form a joke lol that even made them more angry to chase me away from the stage and since then if I see anyone laughing when I do anything that isn't funny I will just feel like giving them hot slap and that how I ignored looking at that lane to become a comedian.
