SuperChickens: The chicken hero 🦸‍♀️

Just the same way it happens among humans, it is no different with animals too. They share love amongst others and just the same way we have some crazy fellas among us, we all have them among animals too. Some of these animals would just be extremely and naturally stubborn without any reason.

I have dealt with some other humans and animals and I have a lot of tales to tell. But today I will be majoring on chickens and my experience with the super and crazy ones among them.

The tale of a mother hen and the hawk. Grandma loves to rear livestocks and she would always have them trained and well fed. This is why they always know when it is time for them to take their breakfast and time for them to take dinner. If grandma should shake the bottle of maize in her hands you will see how all of them would run over to her front and those that will jump over the fence will do just to make sure they are not left out.

There is one stubborn and crazy one among them. We call it the drunken master because it is always so aggressive, acts strange and loves food more than itself. I only thought such traits are present in humans but no, this hen would pursue others just to make sure it gets satisfied.

Time flew and the drunken master laid some eggs and hatched some chicks. It finally became a mother hen. I thought all of the craziness must have reduced but instead it was on a higher level. Grandma told me to go fetch the hen and its chicks to their new cage. As I was about to take it, I got struck by its beak and I had to jump off like I got an electric shock. I knew it got crazier than before. I told grandma to come help me and she picked it. I agreed she was a professional lol.

The most amazing part of it was when we all got surprised and our mouths wowed when a crazy hawk decided to check on the hen craziness. It must have been lurking around for some time before it descended to pick up the chick. It was about taking off and this mother hen took after it. The hawk went as fast it jumped over the fence and went after it. Out of fear, the hawk dropped the chick from a distance and both the hen and the chick landed on the floor. Since then the memories of those moments never left my head.

The tale of the orphan chicken, this was another unforgettable experience I had with another hen. There was a time when there was a lot of flooding in our area. After the flood stopped we started hearing some sound of a chick around. But we tried searching for it and we couldn't find it. Then we decided to leave. But this noise still kept coming for days. Then we were forced to look out for it.

My brother saw it in a hole in the fence wall. Then he tried to pick it up. And then the next thing was my brother shouting because the chicken striked his hands with its beak. He thought it was a snake. He had to use a stick to disturb it till it came out.

This chick also had to experience the attack of a hawk. The chicken wasn’t that small but it looked so rough and unkept. The hawk never knew what it’s trying to attempt. It descended and picked the chicken. We saw it fly high and then it started battling with itself not until it released this little chicken and it found its way down from the high up and still survived. The chicken was just so crazy but it wasn’t able to grow old. I felt it must have been attacked by some other animals.

The tales of this chickens never grows old as there are always stubborn ones among them this reminds me of one in the village when I went for a visit

ah yes, chicken!! they never learn

To think that any human type could reproduce in those coops: the crazy one, the smart one, the gossipy one, the grumpy one and so on indefinitely. Heh, heh.
