Did you know that automatic transmission is much harder to operate than a manual car? It is even the least reliable option in both efficiency and operations. If I was a car salesperson I wouldn't advise any of my clients to opt for an automatic car especially those who like to drive at night. This is because the "N" feature is not genuine and reliable in all automatic cars. It doesn't matter how big the engine is, that future barely works in any car. All the automatic cars only start moving when one uses a Day mode "D" which means you can only drive them during the day okay?
At night if you try to drive it in Night mode by setting the transmission to "N" on a flat surface forget about getting to your destination. No matter how big your car engine is You will never get it to move on night mode, that silly feature only works if you are on a steep hill. For Night mode, the car will rather roll forward or backwards on an inclined surface without having to tap on any pedal. It will move even when the engine is off if you leave it in Night mode which is some crazy witchcraft.
Another shortfall is that the automatic transmission can be more frustrating as they come with unnecessary features and multiple choices for car fuel or gas.
There is a P sign for Petrol, which can be confused with a D sign for Diesel and Daytime mode. But if you select the D for Diesel to fill your gas your car will keep moving forward. If you think about it, it is better to always opt for a Petrol engine so that when you fill gas the P feature for Petrol works better allowing your car to Park than the Diesel option D. Be mindful of that D option because car insurance companies can also use it against your claim if you Drive into a Dead end or Ditch and submit a claim to them. Some insurers can argue that your accident was caused by negligence because you intentionally set the car to D which is for Danger and Dead end.
I guess at this stage you are also wondering like me what's all the hype about an auto transmission?

If all these features don't work efficiently then why the hell does the car industry even make automatic transmission more expensive than the manual one? They both come with the option R for Racing **right? And you are Right that they both have options F and E on a fuel gauge meaning if your fuel gauge is on F you can relax and drive in Freeway or Fastlane not worrying about running out of gas. But the E means Exit the road and look for the nearest gas station asap.
What is more confusing is that the manual transmission comes cheaper yet it has an extra pedal why? Is it not supposed to incur additional features price? It has an arithmetic feature too on the gear lever to shift from 1-5 or 1-6. Why are they selling this feature cheaply? This is a dope feature that gives the option to shift gear up for speed or down to slow down. Your car can take "Control" if you are not paying attention on the road.
A manual transmission gear can tell you that things are not balancing and in the worst scenario your car would stall, refuse to move or complain to you if you are using the wrong gear. Why is this feature cheaper yet it has some trace of "Michael Knight's car (modified 1982 Pontiac Trans Am)? Why ruin the fun with some basic electronic gear selectors or paddle shifters, or even worse automatic transmission?
This is free theoretical knowledge so please don't come back here to complain after a practical application and selecting R for Racing in a freeway Fastlane and hitting the car behind you. Also don't feel dismayed if they remove you from a car enthusiast showroom after sharing this knowledge about cars, they are just jealous of you for being the best motorhead in your city.
