It has been a long time since I published a humorous post. Well maybe I have, but not in the comedy open mic community. I have something to share with the community and I hope you find it interesting. I guess I'm about to find out if I'm funny or not! Here goes nothing.
So last Saturday, my sister and I left home in the morning for lectures. We registered as part-time students, so that's why we attend lectures on weekends.
Before enrolling, we had to consider the lecture time and how convenient the class would be for us. After considering everything, we decided to take the part-time course since it was more convenient for us. We also felt the part-time course would give us more flexibility in our learning schedule. We would be able to learn at our own pace and still have enough time to focus on other projects. Overall, we felt it was the best option for us.
The courses we study are different, and we don't stay in the same class with each other.
As a business administration student, I attend classes separately from my sister who attends marketing classes.
However, during the lunch period, we make sure to have lunch together and catch up. We discuss our classes and other topics, so I always look forward to our lunch meetings.
That's how our weekends usually go, and after school we meet again at the same place and go home together.
One thing we do when it's time to go home is take selfies and selfie videos. We enjoy doing that a lot.
We usually post the selfie videos on social media, WhatsApp status to be specific. We also like to take funny pictures and videos together. It's a great way to capture our memories and share them with our friends.
That Saturday, I gave my sister my phone as usual and asked her to take pictures of us. Also, we weren't alone, my coursemate joined in too. We ended up taking the funniest pictures and videos that day. We laughed so much that our stomachs hurt.
As my sister took two selfie videos, I stood still thinking it was a picture and not a video. It was so funny when she looked at me confused seeing how I stood still and said, "It's a video." She said it in pidgin English though.
I couldn't help but laugh at myself. I was so embarrassed for not realizing it was a video. She then showed me the two videos, and we both laughed together.
