Have you ever wondered the best way you can save your money conveniently? well, I just found one life hack on savings!
Some months ago, I made a piggy box for myself at home with an intention of hopefully saving up a huge amount of money but whenever I'm hungry I smash the piggy out of anger and frustration of hunger and settle my tummy before I starve to coma.
There was a time I told myself that I was going to save a whole lot of money in my piggy box until the money is enough to get me a new bike but the day i started saving, i smashed the piggy box the next day when a different level of hunger knocked at my door and i couldn't escape!
So piggy box and piggy banks have been a no no for me!

Now, what is this almighty saving hack I found out?

Straight to the point I just realized that if I should abandon my money in a place I don't readily access, I could save it for a longer period of time and I even end up forgetting that I kept money in a place like that!
Mostly Its always in a book shelf because I'm always too busy to reach the books, I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a really busy person i literally dont have an hour to spare looking into books unless it's highly demanded of me.

So how did this saving method become foolish?

One faithful day, i dumped some amount of money inside of my bible and kept it in the shelf and I forgot about it completely.
A day came when I was desperately indeed of money but didn't have a single penny with me or at home and I was starving then a friend of mine came to me and requested for some cash token to lend for something he needs urgently.
Knowing fully well that I'm cashless, broke and broken, I told him clearly that I don't have any money with me and I almost swore because I knew for sure that I didn't have a dime.
Well, he came to the house and we sat with a couple of gist for a while until he began to explore my room and reached out to my shelf then he began to pick different books in the shelf and glanced through them one after the other and then boom, I saw him holding 5 thousand Nigerian nairas(₦) which is Worth around 5$

I was shocked and surprised with my mouth widely opened and eyes almost falling off my forehead due to over widening and he concluded that I am a stingy friend that dont always want to help a fellow friend in need.
At this point I became dormant because there was no way I could explain to him that I had such an amount of money in my room.
But I had to say something so it doesn't look like it's entirely my fault.
Me: "Sam that money you took is the money I've been looking for, for a while now"
Sam: " But you told me you don't have a dime in this house"
Me: stammering "I don't have, but... "
Sam: shhhhhh..... With his index finger crossing his lips "you don't even know how to compose a good lie" are you proud of this lie that you just lied?

I felt so emotional at this point with my eyes already looking wet like you could tell I was crying inside knowing that I've lost my only savings to my desperate friend and he's obviously not giving it back all because I told him I was broke and didn't have a dime which wasn't wrong after all!.

That was the most complicated situation I've ever faced with this saving method. And as such I don't advice you to save money the same way I did so you don't end up like me!.
