Today we have Android phones and Apple phones dominating the market.
Only those who were born since the days of Adam will know that there were phones that existed before these ones. I remember I used Vodafone, I used Motorola, I used visaphone, I used Simbian phones, L.G phone, I used several China Phones before I got my first blackberry hehe. Those were the days before WhatsApp, what we had then was 2go. How many of you remember 2go hehe.
Seriously speaking, I know you've used bigger phones than me, but I've used alot of phones I know you can never use in your life time. You know why ? because they're outdated and have gone into extinction. These days I hardly hear of Java phones, it was the raining phone then among young niggas like us when we were growing up.
I could still remember how happy and fulfilled I was when I bought my first big phone, that was a blackberry phone. And guess what ?? It was also a China phone hehe.
I remember the first Blackberry phone I used, it was a long time ago but remembering how I suffered in the hand of that phone makes me still think bad about some of these Chinese manufacturers. hehe. Sometimes I'll just sit down and think about what I've gone through in the hand of many phones, I'll just tell my self "Steve you've seen things and things" hehe. But you see that of my blackberry phone, I can't forget it, not anytime soon.
I know you all know what a blackberry phone looks like. At least for the matured ones here not the Indomie generation people hehe (na joke abeg o hehe). I could remember that the first good phone I used then was a nokia Simbian phone, and then sometime later I bought a Sony Erikson. I was probably still in junior secondary school then, and my parents didn't even know about the phones I was using as they didn't allow anyone of us to own a phone until we enter SS1(senior secondary school).
By the time I was in senior secondary school, I've already used alot of the available phones except blackberry, and it was the raining phone then.
I ended up buying a blackberry, my dream phone then in SS3, and that was what I used in my first week of entering the university.
Previously I didn't bother about calls, phones for me was just about gaming and swaggs back in the days.
But my first week in the university was when I experienced how village people can track you down using a black berry phone. Did I tell you my own blackberry was a Chinese blackberry ? Yes it was.
The phone only allows me to answer call when I am in my lodge, but once I get to the school premises, any incoming call would cause the phone to go off even if the battery is hundred percent full. Initially I thought it was a coincidence that it always happened in school, but when this continued for straight one week I concluded it was village people tracking me.
The day I decided I was done with my love for blackberry was after I had missed almost seventy percent of lectures for the week because even though I was in the school premises, I couldn't contact the class rep to know the venue for the lectures since it was my first week as a fresher, plus the fact that lectures are scheduled in different locations based on the course and availability of lecture halls.
On that faithful day, I tried calling the class rep but my blackberry will go off once the guy picks the call. At a time he got angry that I was calling too much and when he calls back I won't still take his call or it would say not reachable after ringing for few seconds. I knew it was my blackberry. That day I smashed the phone on the floor and just picked up my SIM Card leaving the remains of the phone on the floor. Some people close by were looking at me wondering why I smashed my phone myself, but I thought to myself "they don't know what I gone through in the hand of this phone hehe.
So the next day I went to purchase a new techno phone, and that was the end of my journey with blackberry and a new beginning with Android hehe.
PS: I know they don't exist anymore, but I'll still tell you to stay away from China Phones hehe.
Thank you for reading through. Your comment is much appreciated, tell me about the worst phone you've used.
