Insects,
tiny little creatures that live on this Earth with us.
Creatures that can kill us all if they gain intelligence.
There are approximately 1.4 billion insects for every human on earth. If not for the fact that they are dumb, humanity would be screwed.
Can you even imagine fighting 1.4 million insects not to talk of 1.4 billion,
some people can't even face one single cockroach.
But even though insects can be creepy, they can also be interesting.
Trust me, I played with bugs a lot as a kid. Well, more like tortured them but you get my point.
I'm very educated on them, which is why I decided to make a short ranking of some of the most interesting insects in the world.
Note that this ranking will be over 10, but 0 is definitely not the lowest number. Interpret that how you will.
ANT🐜
This is probably the most widespread and popular insect in the world. They exist in every single place on Earth except Antarctica. Which is ironic because there's literally 'ant' in the name.
I love these guys,
they are very hard-working and United.
And they are generally not bothersome except for those unfortunate soldier ants.
They are simple creatures that humans could learn a lot from.
MY RANKING: 9/10.
it would've been 10, but soldier ants ruined that chance.
COCKROACH 🦗
0/10.
there... that's my ranking.
If you still wanna read, that's fine but just know cockroaches are 0.
I hate these things,
They smell, they're irritating and they require at least 2 whacks from a boot before they die.
If a nuclear war ever happens, just know that cockroaches will survive.
And apparently, according to Google, they are the cleanest insects.
If they are so clean, then why do they like poop so much!
They are so bad that they don't even have an emoji, I had to use a locust emoji for it.
The icing on the cake is that rubbish they do when they just suddenly fly at you😭
BUTTERFLY🦋
First of all, this insect is a scam.
It doesn't have any butter, there's nothing butter about it.
secondly,
butterflies are really nothing special.
They just have pretty privilege.
MY RANKING: 7/10
SPIDER🕷️
Now these guys are technically not insects since they have 8 legs instead of six but who cares.
Spiders have got to be the creepiest insects out there.
They have eight eyes yet they can't use that vision to find somewhere else to stay other than my room.
Apart from the fact that they inspired one of the most iconic superheroes ever, I don't see anything special about them.
MY RANKING: 6 over 10
MOSQUITO🦟
If there was an insect specifically designed by the devil, it would be these little shits.
Every single thing about them is bad,
their noise,
the way they feel,
the way they look
the fact that they literally take your blood!
and let's not forget they're the creatures responsible for the most human deaths ever.
MY RANKING: -∞ over 10
BEE🐝
They're cute, they give us sweet honey, they help make our flowers look beautiful and they are basically harmless.
That alone is enough to give them a very good score,
then you add the fact that they are very hard-working and United, only second to ants.
MY RANKING: 10/10
They are probably the only insects in the entire world that deserve a perfect score.
WASP🔪
Oh look, another one of the devil's pets.
The evil cousins of bees.
And it also doesn't have an emoji,
What a surprise.
The only purpose of these evil creatures is to hurt humans.
Unlike other insects, they're not scared of us.
while other insects would run if you went near them, wasps charge towards you with a knife in their butt and blood in their eyes.
MY RANKING: -11/10
CONCLUSION
There are many, many insects in the world.
But seeing as I live in Nigeria, I have limited exposure to varieties of them (Thank God).
Assuming I was in somewhere like Australia, I'm sure this article would be like 5 million words.
Anyhoo, I hope you enjoyed reading,
I wish you an insectless existence. Except you're an entomologist, in that case, I hope insects always surround you.
Remember not to BUG people 🌚, and above all...
SCREW MOSQUITOES
Thank you for reading.
Stay buzzing,
Maximus ✍🏾✨
