Привіт! Одна з найулюбленіших серій монет — “Видатні особистості України” й видатний спортсмен Леонід Жаботинський. Світовий рекордсмен, чемпіон Європи та світу добре відомий не лише в Україні. Приємно, що у січні 2018 року була введена в обіг монета номіналом 2 гривні, присвячена цій легендарній особистості.
Монета важить 12.8 г й має діаметр 31 мм. Всього ж введено в обіг 35 тисяч штук. Виріб з рифленим гуртом спочатку продавали за ціною 40 гривень. Наразі монету можна купити на майданчику ОЛХ за ціною від 100 до 130 гривень. Дві світлини монети з нейзильберу Леонід Жаботинський використано з офіційної сторінки Національного банку України.
Жаботинський Леонід Іванович — це легенда українського та світового спорту. За все життя він встановив 19 рекордів. Деталі можна знайти в мережі чи заглянути до Вікіпедії.
Реверс. У лівій частині викарбувано назву монету, с права — портрет спортсмена. Поруч з ним зображено атлета, що підіймає над головою штангу. Нижче нанесено роки життя спортсмена.
Лицьова сторона. Трішки лівіше від центра зображено атлета, що підіймає руки до гори. Поруч з ним нанесена штанга. У лівій частині зображені рекорди спортсмена, що відображаються на табло. Справа від атлета нанесено рік виготовлення монети, нижче — номінал, а ще нижче — логотип МД. Герб та напис Україна художники нанесли у верхній частині виробу, зліва від атлета.

Hello! One of the most popular series of coins is "Prominent Personalities of Ukraine" and the outstanding sportsman Leonid Zhabotinsky. The world record holder, European and world champion is well known not only in Ukraine. It is nice that in January 2018, a coin with a denomination of 2 hryvnias was put into circulation, dedicated to this legendary personality.
The coin weighs 12.8 g and has a diameter of 31 mm. A total of 35,000 units were put into circulation. The product with a grooved band was initially sold at a price of 40 hryvnias.
