Привіт! Гарна монета з чудовою назвою “На межі тисячоліть” введена в обіг на початку століття й тисячоліття 7 березня. Вона присвячена прагненню людства до гармонії, покращення життя в цілому, мирному існуванню й багатьом іншим речам, які були й залишаються сподіваннями. Але ці великі надії в будь-якому випадку є добрими й позитивними.
Важить монета з біметалу 9.4 г при діаметрі 28 мм. Для допису “На межі тисячоліть: біметал, монета 2001 року, номінал 5 гривень” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного фінансового регулятора України. На монетному дворі було викарбувано 50 тисяч виробів. Гурт має секторальне рифлення.
Реверс. По колу (в нижній частині) нанесено назву, зверху — зірку. Центральну частину займає зображення матері з дитиною.
Лицьова сторона. Напис Україна, лого МД, номінал, та Герб нанесено по колу. В центрі зображено яйце, утворене зі спіралі. Цей елемент має філософський підтекст та може розглядатися по-різному.
