Привіт! Національним банком було введено в обіг дві монети присвячені Івану Франку. Одна з них виготовлена з нейзильберу, а саме про другу, монету зі срібла й піде мова. Вона була введена в обіг 23 серпня. Присвячена вона 150-й річниці від дня народження одного з найвідоміших українських письменників.
Вага виробу складає 15.55 г, а розмір — 33 мм. Для оформлення допису “Серія “Видатні особистості України”: монета Іван Франко, номінал 5 гривень, 2006 рік” 2 світлини монети запозичені з офіційної сторінки Національного банку України. Виріб має рифлений гурт. Тираж склав 5 тисяч штук.
Реверс. Основну частину монети займає портрет публіциста, поруч у двох квадратах вказано роки його життя. Назва монети викарбувана зліва у вертикальному напрямку. По обидва боки портрета нанесено дві скелі.
Лицьова сторона. Верхню частину аверсу традиційно займає Герб та назва регулятора. В центрі зображений каменяр, якому вдалося розбити скелю. Рік введення в обіг та номінал нанесено внизу. У лівій частині від каменяра нанесено пробу срібла, у правій — лого МД та вагу виробу.

Hello! The National Bank put into circulation two coins dedicated to Ivan Franko. One of them is made of nickel silver, and we will talk about the second, a silver coin. It was put into circulation on August 23. It is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of one of the most famous Ukrainian writers.

The product has a ribbed band. The circulation was 5 thousand pieces.
Reverse. The main part of the coin is occupied by the publicist's portrait, the years of his life are indicated in two squares next to it. The name of the coin is engraved on the left in a vertical direction. Two rocks are drawn on both sides of the portrait.
Front side. The upper part of the obverse is traditionally occupied by the Coat of Arms and the name of the regulator. In the center is a stonemason who managed to break the rock. The year of entry into circulation and the denomination are indicated below. In the left part of the stonemason, a sample of silver is applied, in the right - the logo of MD and the weight of the product.
