Good day my fabulous fellow Hivers! How’s your day? May it be filled with so much love and peace. It is nice to be in this community again who’s bloggers here are very supportive. I do hope that this blog will make you feel good. Just fasten your seatbelt as I am about to share with you how we did the pre-birthday photoshoot of my one and only SON-shine.
When the first birthday of my son was fast approaching, I had this in mind for how to celebrate it. Since it’s his first birthday I wanted to make it ONE-derful and memorable. So, I came to mind to have his pre-birthday photoshoot as a sort of remembrance (perks of being a first-time mom). I am very thankful to Derolan’s Boutique and Events Organizing Services for making this moment very magnificent, credit them for all the photos used in this blog. Without them, this would not be possible.
At first, before it happens, we had this planning time. Planning is very important for all occasions because it makes the event a successful one and everything will be guided as well. So, my husband suggested that the theme must be SAFARI since our son loves animals. Without any doubt, the organizer agreed and did his best to come up with a SAFARI theme. From there I kept in touch with the team for monitoring purposes (stage mother be like).
I admit that when it comes to my son, I wanted the best and all of the mothers out there can relate, agree? During that time, the pandemic started then I am not fun of going outside for safety and buying the necessary things for this very important moment for my son. What I did was I ordered everything online (his costumes). Thank God, it turned out okay and since it arrived ahead of time (thank you shopee) with that, I was very happy.
The time when we were shooting was so challenging, why? It is because my son was so clingy, he wanted me to carry him all the time. He was afraid to be left alone in the area where the shooting was done. He kept on crying; it is obvious in these pictures. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the photographer’s patience in handling us. They understand the situation that my son found something new to him, and he is not used to it which is why he behaved that way.
The photographer did a very superb job. We were satisfied with their service. They find ways for everything to be possible. Their undying love and support from every angle melted my heart, for their job well done indeed they are one of a kind. Sometimes, I am a little bit shy because they were so kind and it’s rare to find them but at the same time so thankful for all the good things, they have done for us.
I appreciate this team much from our pre-nuptial moment until now they were very supportive. I thought this would be impossible because of COVID-19. First, I was hesitant to have like this and a party later amidst the pandemic but what I only thought was God is always good and everything for my child I’ll do it. To God be the Glory, every single thing went smoothly.
I know my son will go to see this soon maybe he might laugh at himself or maybe he will be upset with me. One thing is for sure, he will appreciate our efforts as parents to make his first birthday an indelible one. That is all for today’s blog, thank you so much. Until next time, stay tuned guys!
