¡Vacaciones escolares! Felicidades para los padres, para los niños, para los maestros y para todo el mundo ja,ja,ja. Tranquilos, solo es una expresión cotidiana luego del anuncio de fin de año escolar.

En casa hubo doble celebración. Por un lado Matihas fue promovido a quinto grado y Valeri va a la universidad. Hace apenas unos años era tan solo una bebé y hoy es toda una mujer.

School vacations! Congratulations to parents, to children, to teachers and to everybody ha,ha,ha,ha. Relax, it's just an everyday expression after the end of the school year announcement. At home there was a double celebration. On the one hand Matihas was promoted to fifth grade and Valeri is going to college. Just a few years ago she was just a baby and today she is all woman.

Le gusta la carrera de Fisioterapia, esperemos que su promedio sea suficiente para optar por el cupo universitario. Aunque, hay mucha demanda actual para este tipo de profesión.

Sentimos orgullo por este par de muchachitos. Lo han dado todo por salir adelante y con muy buenas calificaciones. Otra cosa importante a destacar es su madurez, aceptan sus fortalezas, debilidades y reconocen que deben seguir fortaleciendo habilidades.

No sólo la familia se ha esforzado para reforzar conocimientos en Valeri y en Matihas, ellos también han sabido manejar tiempo y herramientas que los ayuden a ser mejores cada día.

She likes the Physiotherapy career, hopefully her GPA will be enough to qualify for the university quota. Although, there is a lot of current demand for this type of profession. We are proud of this pair of kids. They have given their all to get ahead and with very good grades. Another important thing to highlight is their maturity, they accept their strengths, weaknesses and recognize that they must continue to strengthen their skills. Not only the family has made an effort to reinforce knowledge in Valeri and Matihas, they have also known how to manage time and tools that help them to be better every day.

Es la pregunta que se hacen muchos padres en estos tiempos. Entre el trabajo y tantas cosa por hacer parece que las vacaciones escolares les complica sus asuntos.

No es de criticar estas preocupaciones, la situación país es compleja y hasta tanto no haya otro panorama seguirá siendo así. Aún así, es bueno pensar en organizarse para brindar opciones a los niños y ocupar sus tiempos en algo productivo.

Si no hay muchas opciones, los niños también pueden asumir responsabilidades. A nadie le parece buena idea dejarlos solos en el hogar y definitivamente no es el deber ser, pero a veces la situación obliga.

En este sentido, hemos buscado para Matihas algunas actividades complementarias aparte de las que hasta ahora práctica.

This is the question many parents ask themselves these days. Between work and so many things to do, it seems that school vacations complicate their affairs. It is not to criticize these concerns, the country's situation is complex and until there is no other scenario, it will continue to be so. Even so, it is good to think about organizing to provide options for children and occupy their time in something productive. If there are not many options, children can also take on responsibilities. Nobody thinks it's a good idea to leave them alone at home and it's definitely not the right thing to do, but sometimes the situation forces. In this sense, we have looked for some complementary activities for Matihas in addition to the ones he has been doing so far.

La Halterofilia es un deporte que tiene hechizado al niño. Mientras siga motivado seguirá siendo una buena opción para él. El reforzamiento de actividades escolares es otro compromiso a la que tendrá que acudir y cumplir.

Obviamente, estar en casa jugando o viendo televisión no están fuera de los planes. Se le está buscando un plan vacacional para al menos una semana.

Al igual que Valeri, Matihas ha estado practicando en la cocina, es increíble la capacidad de ambos al momento de querer hacer algo. Valeri hace una excelente masa para hacer pizza y Matihas es experto extendiendo y armando.

Weightlifting is a sport that has the child spellbound. As long as he remains motivated, it will continue to be a good option for him. Reinforcement of school activities is another commitment he will have to attend and keep. Obviously, being at home playing or watching TV is not out of the question. A vacation plan for at least a week is being sought for him. Like Valeri, Matihas has been practicing in the kitchen, it is amazing how capable they both are when they want to make something. Valeri makes excellent pizza dough and Matihas is an expert at rolling out and assembling.

Creo que hay muchas opciones para los niños en estos momentos. Independientemente de lo mucho o poco que se tenga, económicamente hablando, hay alternativas para ellos.

Cerca de la zona donde viven los niños pronto dictarán talleres de manualidades y comida completamente gratis. Esas son las oportunidades buenas para ser aprovechadas.

Todas las opciones son viables para los niños siempre y cuando sean negociable con ellos. Voy en contra de forzar las cosas u obligarlo a realizar tareas o actividades que no les guste.

Generar un clima de armonía es lo mejor para los involucrados. Sabemos que cada actividad es pertinente para unos pero no para todos. Es importante explorar varias facetas y clasificar cada una de ellas para buscar la mejor opción como les dije anteriormente.

I think there are a lot of options for children right now. Regardless of how much or how little you have, economically speaking, there are alternatives for them. Near the area where the children live there will soon be free handicraft workshops and free food. These are good opportunities to be taken advantage of. All options are viable for the children as long as they are negotiable with them. I am against forcing things or forcing them to do tasks or activities they don't like. Generating a climate of harmony is best for everyone involved. We know that each activity is relevant for some but not for all.
