Happy day to all the mommies and daddies who are part of the beautiful community of @Motherhood 👩👧, I hope you are all doing great 😊 and that your little ones are doing great 😍.
I want to share with you today the experience of my baby learning how to ride a bike 😍🚲 or well making the attempt 🤭.
For months my little girl had wanted a bike, since a neighbor a little older than her had one and she was excited to see him riding a bike. In addition, more than once he lent it to her and she rode it, well actually I rode it and rode it because this bike was too big for her.
The thing is that since then she has wanted one and she inherited one from a cousin but it was missing the cushion that had deteriorated due to the time it had been stored. So we decided to make the effort to buy it to repair her bike, since buying one is a bit difficult 🤦🏻♀️.
Once we bought her the cushion and her dad repaired it, she wanted to spend the day riding the bike, but she was scared when she went sideways even though the wheels held her, so she didn't want to ride it anymore until a few days ago.
On Tuesday we went to her paternal grandparents' house, since they live near us and she wanted to ride the bike, so her dad put a strap (or belt) on the steering wheel tube to carry it and she felt more secure 🤭 and could gradually give it to the pedals and in this way learn.
Since according to sources I have read on the web, riding a bicycle helps to strengthen children's muscles, helps with coordination, endurance and balance, as well as helping to develop their agility in terms of physical activity.
So once we were with her grandparents, her grandma (or yaya, she calls them that) took her down a street that is a bit steep and when she went down it was super easy for her to hit the pedals and handle the bike by herself 😍. Both for her and for us it was very exciting to see her so confident and calm on her bike and above all so calmly handling it. And although she still needs a lot of practice and more confidence to get on her bike by herself, she has already taken the first step so that little by little she can learn more until she can ride by herself 🚲😍..
Every time our children manage to do something no matter how small it is and even more if it is by themselves, we as parents are filled with so much pride that we always want to share with someone else this 🙈, that's why today I decided to share it with you. Hoping also that you can give me some advice as well so that she learns in the best way 😊😊.
Hasta pronto, un fuerte abrazo y bendiciones a todos sus pequeños 🤗❤️
I'll be reading you mommies and daddies 😃.. See you soon, big hugs and blessings to all your little ones 🤗❤️
