Happy and blessed day to all of you my dear and appreciated friends of this beautiful community, today I have the great pleasure and joy of sharing with all of you a very special day in my life, for those who have not read me in other publications I summarize I am a happy mother of a child with non-verbal level 2 autism condition and since I was very little we have gone through many circumstances in terms of the educational institutions where I have tried to incorporate him and after a lot of fighting to integrate him into the regular educational system and see Because it is not yet prepared to serve children with my little one's condition, I chose to enroll him in a Special Education school.
This is his second year attending this school and the change in it has been quite a bit, the truth is I think he couldn't have made a better decision, maybe it is difficult because of how far away it is, but it is a sacrifice that we must make for the well-being of the child. . And here is proof of it, today I am very happy to share with all of you a very beautiful project closing activity of my little prince charming.
Currently, in the classroom where my little one is, they are working on vowels, helping them to know the vowels, and to know and recognize objects related to each vowel. For this, the teacher carried out many activities in the classroom and asked us, the representatives, to prepare a didactic game with useful material to work on vowels. I made some cards with the vowels and allusive figures, and the other children brought other strategies.
This day a few days ago, we were invited to enjoy this special activity where the children of each level would present the results of their work during this second class period. Upon arrival, as it was raining, the students could not go out to the patio where they present their presentations, so each teacher placed a table in front of their classroom to show their work and present their closing activity.
The teacher, always attentive and prepared, made a billboard. with the name of the vowels and I give each student an identifier.
The main closing activity was a song and despite my son being non-verbal he was still included in the activity and while some sang he clapped and danced, all happy and excited as you can see in those expressions in the photographs.
Then he participated by identifying (pointing to) some objects that teacher Hiba mentioned. The truth is, his dad and I felt super excited and he was also super happy because it could be seen in his beautiful face. I really didn't stay to finish the activity because That same day my other daughter's presentation was scheduled, so I ran to the other school and left the child with his father.
This was a very nice and special activity for both the children and the parents, it is so beautiful to be able to see that they can also present a project closure in their own way and demonstrate everything they have learned. May God allow this to be the beginning of many other activities where our children are protagonists of their learning and there continue to be teachers with a vocation and love for others.
