El día de ayer, 25 de junio, fue de mucha lluvia lo que trajo a mi mente un día vivido, lleno de alegrías y bendiciones que mi familia y yo pudimos experimentar luego de algunos años volver a tener a un bebé en nuestra familia. Ayer se cumplieron seis años del nacimiento de Mateo David, quien es mi sobrino consentido y en cada cumpleaños le hemos festejado rodeados de familiares y amigos, lo que le ha hecho sentir felicidad.
Yesterday, June 25, was a rainy day, which brought to my mind a day full of joy and blessings that my family and I were able to experience after a few years to have a baby in our family again. Yesterday was the sixth anniversary of the birth of Mateo David, who is my spoiled nephew and on every birthday we have celebrated him surrounded by family and friends, which has made him feel happy.
Como saben, por mis publicaciones anteriores, soy una tía que consentidora quien apoya a este pequeñín en todas sus actividades para que crezca lleno de mucho amor, ya que si papi está fuera del país desde hace cuatro años, además mi pequeño Mateo ha tenido que pasar por muchas pruebas difíciles y dolorosas a su corta edad por lo que a menudo trato de hacerle sentir que es importante por medio de las diferentes demostraciones de afecto.
As you know from my previous publications, I am a spoiled aunt who supports this little one in all his activities so that he grows up full of love, since his daddy has been out of the country for four years, and my little Mateo has had to go through many difficult and painful trials at his young age, so I often try to make him feel that he is important through different demonstrations of affection.
Cada viernes el pequeño regresa del colegio en su transporte directo a casa de mi hermana para así pasar el fin de semana con nosotros dado que su papá es el hijo de mi hermana, en ocasiones el transporte lo trae a mi casa y él feliz porque puede compartir con mis hijos aunque la diferencia de edades es considerable debido a que mi hijo menor le lleva siete años y mi hijo mayor nueve años de edad, lo que pareciera mucho si nos ponemos a pensar en los intereses que este trío puede tener de manera individual. Resulta que Mateo es un niño excepcional por su inteligencia que donde quiera que va resalta, lo cual le beneficia al compartir con chicos mayores, como es el caso de mis hijos con quien comparte intereses en común y se la llevan muy bien divirtiéndose en sus videojuegos, películas, con la lectura o simplemente jugando con cartas con las que arman diferentes imágenes.
Every Friday the little boy comes home from school in his transportation directly to my sister's house to spend the weekend with us since his father is my sister's son, sometimes the transportation brings him to my house and he is happy because he can share with my children although the age difference is considerable because my youngest son is seven years older and my oldest son is nine years old, which seems a lot if we think about the interests that this trio may have individually. It turns out that Mateo is an exceptional child because of his intelligence that stands out wherever he goes, which benefits him when sharing with older children, as is the case of my sons with whom he shares common interests and they have a great time having fun playing video games, movies, reading or simply playing with cards with which they put together different images.
La cuestión es que desde hace quince días debido a que lamentablemente se contagió con la ómicron aun cuando es un niño que sabe cuidarse manteniendo las medidas de bioseguridad, pero estas son cosas que suceden en los colegios o en cualquier otro lugar donde existan concentraciones de grupos, siempre hay alguien que se baje la mascarilla y esté contagiado pero con la condición de asintomático. Mateo cumplió su tratamiento al pie de la letra en casita con mami y hermanita, quienes también se contagiaron por pensar que era una simple gripe.

Llegó el día tan esperado por mi niño, quien tenía planeado celebrar sus seis añitos en un parque acuático, planes que por supuesto quedaron eliminados y no quedó de otra de optar por un plan B que le hiciera sentir felicidad en la intimidad de su hogar y en compañas de mami y hermanita. Nuestro pequeño deseaba que estuviésemos con él compartiendo en su cumpleaños, aun cuando la médico tratante indicó que cumplió cabalmente con el tratamiento, también sugirió permanecer en casa alejado de terceras personas por un tiempo prudencial junto a su grupo familiar, por lo que fue imposible asistir y disfrutar con él.
The long awaited day arrived for my little boy, who had planned to celebrate his six years of age in a water park, plans that of course were eliminated and there was no choice but to opt for a plan B that would make him feel happy in the privacy of his home and in the company of mommy and little sister. Our little boy wanted us to be with him sharing his birthday, even though the treating doctor indicated that he fully complied with the treatment, she also suggested to stay at home away from third parties for a reasonable time with his family group, so it was impossible to attend and enjoy with him.
Su mami, quien es muy creativa, le organizó un día especial, lleno de sorpresas, comenzando por un delicioso desayuno con obsequio incluido, luego un exquisito almuerzo y por último una torta con algunas golosinas. No faltaron las videollamadas do todos los que le queremos para cantarle el cumpleaños y desearle un mar de bendiciones, esto con el fin de que él sintiera que estábamos cerca compartiendo su día especial, objetivo que cumplimos porque manifestó ser un niño afortunado lo que nos llenó de mucha alegría.
His mommy, who is very creative, organized a special day for him, full of surprises, starting with a delicious breakfast with a gift included, then a delicious lunch and finally a cake with some goodies. There was no shortage of video calls from all of us who love him to sing his birthday to him and wish him a sea of blessings, so that he would feel that we were close to him sharing his special day, a goal that we achieved because he said he was a lucky boy, which filled us with great joy.
